Location was fairly convenient (I was travelling from Gare St-Lazare at the end of my stay). Room was on the back of the building so I did not notice any traffic noise and it remained as cool and shady as was possible on a very hot weekend. Good value for a short stay in Paris

Avoid it!

Staff not welcoming at all, just polite. We know that when we go to a two-star hotel, the service is not going to be top-notch, but cleanliness could be. There were stains on the pillowcase, hair in the sink, and dust throughout the room. Also, I slept in pants and a short-sleeved t-shirt, I scratched my arms all night, and I had bites on my arms in the morning. Not to mention the breakfast: tasteless croissant, sour orange juice, and one hard-boiled egg that I could never manage to peel properly because the shell stuck to the egg, and I did not dare to eat it because it smelled really strong! Upon my departure, no one asked me if I had a nice night or if I enjoyed my stay. I hope they will read my comment and that it will be better for future travelers. Really scandalous all of this!

The hotel is exactly what you pay for -- rooms are very very small, which is fine. But the showers are so tiny that it's impossible to bathe without pressing against the curtain, turning the water off, or both. The linens are also not as crisply clean (some minor stains) as you'd get at a higher priced place.
That said, the staff is great. My room was refreshed every day and the front desk folks were always attentive and kind.
Three stars overall, would be 2 for "actual hotel stuff" except for the staff upping the average. If this is the cheapest hotel you can get, it will meet expectations. If not, I cannot recommend.

The place was clean! The staffs are amazing! And the hotel address is very accessible to everything! We loved it!

The hotel is old, the elevator is tiny (it only fits one person and a suitcase), the door handles are falling apart, there's no heater, only air conditioning, and when you shower the bathroom floods.
The only positive point was the staff, who went out of their way to find another room for us. They were always very kind and helpful.
