ABSOLUTE HORROR: ZERO HYGIENE AND INTIMIDATION AT KIEZ HOSTEL
My stay at this property was a real nightmare. The experience was marked by deplorable hygiene conditions and a violent and unacceptable verbal attack by the person responsible.
The Conditions of the House: Zero Hygiene and Hazard. At "check-in", the room situation was shocking:
* Dirty and stained sheets: I found dirty, stained sheets. I attach photographic documentation that also showed the presence of what appeared to be a bed bug.
* Missing services: The room was completely devoid of pillows and duvet. Towels were missing and toilet paper was in unacceptable condition.
* Security Issues: In addition to a damaged mirror, the bed was dangerously unstable and shaky, a real safety hazard.
After reporting the obvious lack of hygiene and services, the manager went up to the room carrying only two pillows without clean sheets or the duvet, declaring that the matter was closed.
When I insisted on having the necessary, his reaction was one of unheard-of rudeness and arrogance: The person in charge reacted extremely aggressively, yelling at me and telling me to leave the facility immediately! It prevented me from expressing myself and establishing a dialogue. I felt helpless and violated. I had to stay in a dirty bed for fear of his intimidating attitude.
A Warning for Future Guests:
WARNING: You only have to read the other reviews to understand that the owner has a habit of distorting the facts, responding aggressively and attributing blame to customers.
Hygienic conditions are a danger (bugs?), and the reaction of the manager makes the facility a dangerous place to frequent. STAY AWAY! Don't make that mistake.

Terrible
This was honestly the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had.
First off, our room had bed bugs. We ended up sleeping on top of the blankets and using towels as covers just to avoid getting bitten. I left with visible bites, and it completely ruined the trip – disgusting and unacceptable.
Then, a staff member tried to come into our room while we were still staying there. I shouted that it was occupied, but a few minutes later they came back and let themselves in with a key without even knocking. This was extremely invasive and made me feel completely unsafe.
The hostel is also totally disorganized. I had emailed weeks in advance to extend our stay and got confirmation, but when we arrived, nothing had been recorded. We had to re-explain everything, and the staff member literally calculated the price in his head – no proper receipt, nothing official. It felt chaotic and unprofessional from start to finish.
To top it off, the fire alarms went off in the middle of the night, waking everyone up, and there was no explanation or apology from staff. We were all left confused about whether it was even a real emergency.
Between the bed bugs, the rude and unprofessional staff, the chaotic booking system, and the lack of basic guest safety, this place is a complete disaster. I work in hostels myself and I’ve never seen standards this low.
Save yourself the stress and stay anywhere else.
