The hotel is clean, clean and very pleasant to stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent - it is located on Lafayette Street on all the restaurants and shops.
The hotel is located a one-minute walk from the metro station, from which you can conveniently and efficiently reach all the central points of Paris.

A lovely hotel.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel which is very conveniently located close to the metro and walking distance from Gard du Nord. It was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great continental breakfast to start the day. Would highly recommend.

Nice step
Nice welcome. Comfortable room on the 4th floor. Very clean. Coffee and cold drink available. We come regularly to Paris and will not fail to book Au Petit Lafayette

Disappointing stay below expectation of a 4 star hotel
We recently stayed for three nights and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations for a four-star hotel.
The room was significantly smaller than it appeared in the booking photos. The layout was also unusual and impractical. The toilet is separated from the shower cabin, and the shower opens directly onto the floor of the room. As a result, water regularly dripped onto the floor during showers, which led to a persistent stale water smell.
The basin was not located in a bathroom but was positioned as part of a desk extension, offering very limited surface area for toiletries. Storage was also inadequate, for example the wardrobe was extremely narrow and with two people in the room moving around or changing at the same time was almost impossible due to the lack of space.
The bed was lightweight and easily movable, which made it feel unstable and less comfortable than expected. Cleanliness overall was average rather than four star standard.
Breakfast was also disappointing. The selection was limited and identical each day. The highlight was sausages with eggs, while crepes were consistently served cold.
We requested a room change due to these issues, but this was refused on the basis that the hotel was fully booked. While we understand occupancy constraints, we would have expected more effort to accommodate dissatisfied guests.
For approximately 700 euros for three nights including tax, the value for money was simply not there. Overall, the experience felt overpriced for what was delivered.

Regarding your room, I would like to clarify that the photos on our website, where the booking was made, accurately reflect the layout and size of our Superior category, which is our most economical option. The room is described as 13 square meters, and the images show the exact configuration, including the placement of the shower, basin, and toilet. We also provided the only Superior room with a balcony.
During your stay, we offered to move you to a Deluxe room on the last night, as this was the only availability at the time. Unfortunately, this offer was not accepted. I also personally tried to contact you by phone to discuss your experience and see how we could improve it, but I was unable to reach you.
While we regret that certain aspects of your stay, including breakfast and bed comfort, did not meet your expectations, we believe we made every reasonable effort to address your concerns. Your comments will nonetheless be reviewed as part of our ongoing commitment to improving the guest experience.
