Lovely hotel in a great location. There was an issue with noise in the room from ? The air on which meant sleep was disrupted but loud noise every 5 minutes but there were no staff around to tell u til check out.

On arrival the Air Con in the room was not working, reported to Reception who knew about the problem but suggested opening a window. We asked for a fan for the room which they promised, but 8 hours later still had not supplied.
The room was very poorly maintained with some electrical sockets not working at all and the bathroom sink drain plug stuck down in the closed position.
Breakfast was a bunfight, with very little food put out to feed the full room of guests. Only one coffee machine working - gave up waiting in the queue at the end.
Hotel Reception staff, too busy talking to their fellow workers to pay us any attention, we felt very uncomfortable standing there waiting for them them to finish their chatting.
Would not stay again and would not recommend.

A nightmare with entire hotel air condition broken down for five days

Checked in on 24 May, found that air con not working. Called reception and no one pick up the phone. Went down and the receptionist said air con in some rooms broken down. Another guest said it has been 3 nights since she checked in and it was still not fixed. The receptionist said someone will fixed it 8am tomorrow.
Second day another receptionist said no one is coming to fix the air con. I asked if we can change to a room with air con. He said cannot because the rooms are occupied and full. I said you are still selling room online. Then he said the manager will come back at 8am. Then later said 10am, then said today is bank holiday and not coming back. You can check out and get refund.
In the afternoon, asked another receptionist, she said actually the entire hotel had no air con. It’s hopeless and now 1:47am, still unable to sleep. Totally lost of enjoyment.

Good - would stay again

I would stay again. I slept really well - nice bed. The rooms are typical Paris (basic and small). Great location as well. The only negative would be the guy who works reception - such a miserable, surly and awful human being. He should do himself (and customers) a favour and find another job.
