Hotel comfort with hostel chill.
All round great stay. Hotel standard accommodation with hostel vibe and good indoor and outdoor relaxation spaces.
Location is great, walk to RER for CDG and Metro. Great cafes, boutiques and parks in short walking distance. We walked back from Notre Dame with stops by StGermain, Luxembourg gardens etc.
Room was well equipped with a comfortable bed, good bathroom, adjustable air conditioning, blackout shutters, tv, kettle, small fridge. Paper cups which is often more hygienic than glass.
Breakfast is included, and had good European/continental style with ham, eggs, cheese, croissants, rolls, yogurt, pancakes and preserves, and a couple of cereals.
Compared to Generator hostels there's not the same level of events/entertainment to create community. The hostel has conference facilities so there were large groups doing classes which brings a bit different vibe to pure travellers.

If you value sleep/ relaxation, explore any other option
Every morning at 6:30 sharp we are awoken to the loud banging and clanking of trucks on the mainstreet below. What they are doing I have no idea but it requires much yelling from the crew running and operating them. This happens 6-7 days a week without exception. Due to the heat and the provided fans not working, I became split with the choice of boiling alive inside my room with my windows closed, or leave them open to allow fresh air and in return be woken bright and early. If that’s not great way to start your morning, it gets better. After your restful night of sleep (not) step off the elevator and walk into the lobby and cafeteria for a nice meal full of what seems like hundreds of screaming and disorderly children all competing to be the funniest in the room. Also if your hot at all during your stay and would like to sit in the nice cool lobby, you will not be lonely as there are dozens of children there to accompany you noise and running included. Maybe you’ll seek shelter into the empty furnished basement with ac, think again. Despite it being a heatwave you’ll likely be kicked out by security. Hungry for something other than lukewarm hard cafeteria food, don’t even consider bringing food back and eating in the lobby, you’ll be kicked out for that too. Overall this has felt less like accommodation and more like confinement.

Beautiful structure but poorly maintained and managed.
The structure itself is beautiful but poorly managed and maintained. During the heatwave, the air conditioners were not working, and the staff was unable to fix them. The staff was unfriendly and rude (with one exception). At breakfast, the vegan options were nonexistent. In the end, we left asking for a refund. Since it is not cheap, the value for money is terrible.

I recommend it.
Very good. Traveling with a school group. Clean, good value for money. Services were in line with our expectations. Pleasant breakfast. Quiet place.

Excellent! Great! Beautiful, awesome! ...thank you!
Camp director at Fiap with 33 children and 5 animators, the week of April 18 to April 25, 2026 for a stay organized by Loisirs Provence Méditerranée. I’ve already been to a lot of hostels in Paris, I have good experiences, but also a bad one at the BVJ in Paris.
I have never been welcomed as well as those 8 days spent at the Fiap. The welcome was excellent, the staff in catering is super nice. Everyone remains available despite the number of groups and the number of people present. We had a personalized welcome and it changes many things. Packed lunches are more than provided, the food in the restaurant is qualitative and quantitative. The space in the lobby is beautiful, the dining room, the terrace to eat, play boules, table tennis are a not inconsiderable plus.
The rooms are clean, there is plenty of space, they have toilets and showers. It was comfortable to have rooms for 4 or 5 children maximum.
Towels are changed every three days, sheets also changed during this week.
The children are the animators were able to have an excellent stay.
I thank all the staff and especially Louis, but also Amélie who allowed us to have a very nice blind test evening hosted by the excellent Xavier. The children and the adult team appreciated his leadership skills.
I also quote Lisa, Elodie and Fabrice who are all equally efficient and friendly, if all the FIAP teams are so excellent, it will be a real pleasure to come back personally but also with groups.
