Extra convenient location, issues w/elevator. Extra friendly/helpful staff. Would certainly stay there again.

The staff at Hotel Cosmotel were AMAZING! Everyone is so kind and very, very helpful! We had wonderful advice for using the metro and also great recommendations for things to do that were of particular interest to our teen daughter like the zoo and a less touristy aquarium! The rooms were clean. The breakfast was tasty. It was also great to come back to the AC while it’s so hot in Paris! I cannot emphasize enough how great the staff was though! The very kind gentlemen working the desk made our stay so much more enjoyable! Ils étaient merveilleux!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cosmotel. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and took the time to tell us which streets were nice to walk in and where to find the best cafés in the neighbourhood. We also appreciated the tip he gave us about the Citymapper app, which is apparently better than Google Maps in Europe. Another staff member was also helpful in arranging our transportation to the airport as we had to leave for the airport before 5 AM, before the metro/RER trains opened.
My only gripe is that the elevator doesn't go all the way to the ground floor, which can be a bit of a challenge if your luggage is heavy. Other than that, we had a great stay at Cosmotel!

When we arrived we immediately noticed hair on the shower floor, and were told that they had no other rooms available. So I asked for cleaning supplies so I could clean the shower myself. Many repairs needed, drywall under windows was loose and separated from wall, rusted hardware in bathroom, broken handle on cabinet. Many dents and scratches on door frames and cabinets, mirror is so old that the metallic finish has rusted around edges, hairdryer was yellowing and looked gross. Needs some TLC, but the night clerk and owner were very polite and helpful.

Loyal customer treated with contempt – scandalous

I’m a regular at the Cosmotel and I’m still shocked by what I experienced on Friday, March 20. So far, everything was going very well thanks to a staff that was always professional and welcoming.
This time, everything changed because of the owner. The situation is mind-blowing: I simply asked, as in every stay, to be opened the garage reserved with my room. A normal, basic request, without any problems before.
The reaction was brutal and incomprehensible: your aggressive, contemptuous attitude, and I am clearly asked to “go away”. Yeah, you read that right.
All accompanied by a speech like: “this is my hotel, I do what I want, if you are not happy you get out”, even though I had a confirmed reservation by email for two nights with garage.
This is unacceptable, humiliating and totally irresponsible, especially on a Friday afternoon in Paris where finding another hotel is part of the fighter’s journey.
The behaviour of the owner is that of a sour, extremely rude person and obviously unable to manage customers with a minimum of respect.
I’ve never seen that. This institution loses all credibility because of such an attitude.
Run away.
