A wonderful stay with a wonderful host !
My wife and I stayed at this wonderful 200 plus year old house for a week in early June. Anne-Marie is a brilliant host, always friendly and helpful. Every morning she had a wonderful breakfast ready for us, with fresh fruit, croissants, coffee, fresh orange juice and various home made jams, regional meats and cheeses.
The house is down a quiet road so there's no noise around you and almost no traffic. If you need a super market, there is a Super U that's about 5 minutes away by car. You can also access the French motorway easily in less than 10 minutes from the property and get to towns such as Lourdes and Pau.
On our last evening, Anne Marie and her husband gave us a little party at which we drank some wonderful wine and Jacques treated us to his delicious home made Limoncello.
One final note that may interest history buffs : this house was built by an English general who (if I remember correctly) was in France with Wellington. So you not only get to stay in a wonderful place but also a place that is quite historical.
I thoroughly recommend Anne-Marie and her beautiful house.
