Pleasant stay in Oletta, Korsika

Very pleasant stay in Oletta, Korsika! Settled slightly outside the center of Oletta it provids a very good base for daytrips in the north east part of Korsika! The otel is quite, clean and a nice place to stay! E personal is very polite and friendly! Breakfast and food served in the restaurant close to the pool is also good! So, all in all a very good place to stay!

Charming and relaxing setting with panoramic views and swimming pool of 20 meters!

Charming building (old palace) with walls so thick that air conditioning is almost not necessary and good soundproofing because we did not hear the cars on the road (little traffic) located below the hotel. Note that the doors of the rooms slam and you hear the voices on the landing from your room, to relativize the hotel having only 9 rooms.
Sober and contemporary decoration.
A beautiful swimming pool all along 20 meters that will delight swimmers.
Sunbeds under the olive trees and on small terraces cascading in a very well maintained setting (congratulations to the staff in general and Lois).
A terrace for breakfast with panoramic views of the Saint Florent and restaurant that offers for the evening qualitative and tasteful but expensive dishes (on average 32€) and wines by the glass for 14€. Don't miss the sunset.
Thanks to Véronique for the friendly breakfasts and her French toast. Various choices: croissants, chocolate breads, baguette, Corsican jams, yogurt and homemade cake. A la carte: eggs, bacon, avocado toast. One regret, honey is not local!
Our room located on the 2nd floor was very spacious (bathroom as large as the room) with pool view.
Congratulations to the always very smiling cleaning lady for the cleanliness and equal work.
Kettle and coffee machine (tea and coffee provided), slippers and bathrobes. Mini bar and safe. One free bottle of filtered water per day (cost of bottle at bar/restaurant 6€).
Bedding too firm for my taste (one on mattress would be a must for a hotel in this category) and pillows could be more comfortable.
An electric vehicle charging station at the hotel entrance. Free public parking at 60 meters. To reach the reception, you have to climb a small steep slope and then climb several steps (not very accessible for people with disabilities?).
A la carte services that we have not tested: massages, wine tastings, tours, boats...
Very nice Welcoming and relevant advice from Quentin, young Corsica with a lot of potential!
Be careful about distances in terms of time and not km. Example: from the hotel it takes 1h45 to go to Calvi. Possibility to make the Cape Corsica in one day but not in a race!
In summary excellent stay even if we did not benefit from the best rates (you should have taken the risk of booking at the last minute).

Exquisite , peaceful hôtel

What a gem! The setting is exquisite with stunning views and such a peaceful atmosphere. Being a small boutique hotel , we experienced exceptional hospitality and service with all the staff being super friendly and taking time to ensure every aspect of our stay was looked after . We would love to return one day. The location allows you to explore the northern part of Corsica and come back each day to tranquility. The village of Oletta is small and delightful with a vibrant atmosphere in the evenings . We dined at “A Forge” a couple of nights , lovely views and a cute little local restaurant a short walk from the hotel .

Can’t recommend this boutique hotel highly enough.

Beautiful boutique hotel nestled in the charming hilltop village of Oletta and a short 10-minute drive to the charming seaport town of Saint Florent. Our room was airy, bright, clean, and comfortable with fantastic views of the mountains and sea. The service was outstanding- everyone there made us feel welcomed and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Don't miss A Forge for a delicious meal with phenomenal views, just a short walk from the hotel. Highly recommend this special and charming hotel.

Truly amazing hotel and overall experience. The views from our room and lovely pool are spectacular. Best of all was the hospitality and service. The staff were always pleasant, friendly and assisted us with dinner reservations and many wonderful suggestions. We also loved Oletta and the North end of Corsica. If traveling to this area of Corsica, staying at Aethos is a must!
