Above and beyond - fantastic, and thankyou!
After arriving with a flat tyre, Oussama on the front desk went out of his way to get me back on the road again, finding a local motorcycle repair company and managing to get my bike in and fixed in time for check out 3 days later. No mean feat in France over the weekend when everything closes.
Great location, great tunes by the pool... ar real find.

Solo stay in Nice
The location is great and it's easy to reach from the train station, which made arriving and exploring Nice really straightforward. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good, and the pool was a lovely added bonus after a day of sightseeing.
The rooms were clean, functional, and had the fun, quirky style that Mama Shelter is known for, which gave the hotel plenty of character.
A great option for solo travellers looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. I would happily stay here again.

One night without air conditioning! A management that is not up to par.
Weekend with my daughters = 3 rooms x 2 nights.
My room, first night = the air conditioning was broken. Supposedly full (surprising given the few people at breakfast), they set up a fan for me (not great = hot + noisy = only slept 2 or 3 hours max). I was promised a room change the next day + a goodwill gesture!
The next day, they changed my room.
The goodwill gesture?? 10% off the room price for the night! I was expecting a free night (1/6) or at least 50% off (8% off the price of the nights - rooms).
Royal! 20% off one night, which is less than the tips left with drinks and restaurants!
And for a hotel with a pool ... in July, access to the pool closes at 6 PM! + privatization .. on Saturday, we could not enjoy the pool.
I will never set foot in the Mama Shelter in Nice again!
I wonder if I will go to the other Mamas (habits in Rennes and Paris) .. considering no longer favoring the Accor group!

Cons: The rooms were hot (could barely feel any A/C, so it was hard to sleep) and the showers weren’t too warm. Also, the location wasn’t the best.. wish we had stayed closer to Old Town.
