A French idyll

Never ever have we experienced, in any holiday accomodation, anywhere in the world such a wonderful welcome, such splendid surroundings, such delicious homemade delights and such a relaxing retreat! Quite selishly I am a little reluctant to share its magic, but Marie deserves the recognition on making each and every guest feel as though they have found their french idyll. Merci mille fois Marie!

Savoir vivre

At Mas d'Escattes you can feel that you are in France. Marie is a warm and very generous hostess. We had a large, pleasant room overlooking the beautiful garden. The extensive breakfast included fresh fruit, various breads, cheese, sausage, coffee, tea and Marie's mother's delicious jams. Espresso can be prepared at any time. We would particularly like to highlight the communal kitchen, which we liked to use in the evening, and of course the large swimming pool. At Mas d'Escattes, you can relax and enjoy.

Very welcoming guest house

During the Easter weekend, we were the first guests of the 2024 season at Maison d’Escattes.
Despite the heavy rain on the first day, we were charmed by our guest room. First of all, an excellent welcome from Marie, both for the telephone reservation and the entry into the property.
Our room was huge, around 30 m2 plus a nice bathroom. We had a very comfortable large bed.
The breakfast is generous with homemade products.
Located 10 minutes by car from the center of Nîmes, we were able to explore the beautiful region between Nîmes and Uzes.
A beautiful guest house that we recommend.

Beautiful place

It is a beautiful place with very nice spacious rooms and a very nice garden. We loved the breakfast and found the host Marie very attentive, accommodating and friendly. It is a perfect spot to explore te beautiful surroundings and cities such as Nimes and Uzes. A place we will definitely come back to.

Charming in its excellence

We are seasoned travellers and could not find fault with our wonderful stay here.
From the moment we found ourselves at the beautiful farm gate we we welcomed and treated as valued guests.
Our hostess made us feel at home - in her home!
Our room was spacious and comfortable, the decoration had an eye for detail, and homely. Spotless, comfortable and airy.
The garden filled with mown lawn, lovely trees and flowers, not to mention the pool, clean and refreshing and private, shared only with a busy tortoise!
The breakfast was equally varied and more than ample.
Truly a treasure to find in a busy world.
Wanted/should have spent more time here.
