Really great comfortable stay this time
So last time I left a mediocre review, but ended by saying we would return with a different perspective. We did, and it was a super three night stay. This time we went for a smaller standard room, which was good, nicely finished, a SUPER comfortable bed and nice compact shower bathroom. Last weekend was unbelievably hot in Paris, so the perfect air conditioning was welcome made even better by the fact that it was silent. We slept perfectly. The location of the hotel is great, despite being a little out of town, as it is a short walk to Metro Line 1 which takes you to many of the main areas you might want to see without a line change. The locality feels like a city village, very nice with restaurants and bars. We liked one over the road for breakfast, and a fabulous Corsican one a stroll away. But back to the hotel, we would make a point of staying here again even if the location within Paris didn’t appear perfect, as the transport links are so good. We would book the slightly larger room category as per our previous trip, it that is personal preference.

Inadequate a/c. Poor public spaces. Tiny rooms despite upgrading significantly to a 'Delux Garden Room'. We had the view of the top of a tree.

Be careful of double charges
We stayed there on the 5th of June until 7 th of June. We had the 20 procent of offer they advertised on the internet so we payed 559 euro. When we came they took a “deposit” for 785 euros and said it was just a deposit. They charged both amounts and today the 11 of Juli they have still not returned the 785 euros to our account. We have been writing to them several of times, but still no refund. Even though they have promised that they will refund us.

Not up to scratch
We’re repeat visitors and found the hotel a good option in Paris in the past, apart from finding breakfasts a little lacking. It was high season so quite pricey but we rebooked anyway.
We had two rooms this time and found staff very helpful and friendly. However, the air conditioning didn’t work in one room. While staff did supply fans and were apologetic they shrugged their shoulders in that sort of ‘nothing we can do’ attitude. This was during the Paris heatwave. So our stay was awful. On top of this a wiring glitch meant that to have the fans on, all the lights needed to be on in our room too. All night. As you can imagine it was not at all pleasant. No discounts were offered and we enquired about this. Eventually we were given a reduction on the room with no aircon. Frankly, not really good enough as it was supposed to be a family trip and we just wanted a nice stay.
Alas, breakfast remains poor. Yoghurts ran out and viennoiserie are sad (I mean how hard can it be to do a lovely croissant with jam and butter!).
So for us, we’ll look elsewhere when we’re in town. Which is a pity.

Excellent location friendly staff especially in the restaurant for breakfast. Nice Italian girl always ready to assist with a smile.
