Very well-managed old town hotel, highly recommended!

The Hôtel d'Haussonville is a very appealing, excellently preserved hotel with a lot of charm and exceptionally friendly staff. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thematically designed. A very beautiful sandstone staircase leads to the rooms up to the second floor. An elevator is not available. The hotel is very centrally located, so we reserved a guarded parking space in advance. We could leave heavy luggage in the car this way. Sights are easily reachable on foot. We spent two days in Nancy and did not need a car. Breakfast was served, not a buffet; everything was fresh, and we were very satisfied. Nine years ago, we stayed at this hotel and would book it again for a third time.

A wonderfully hospitable hotel

What a fabulous hotel! Originally the home of palace officials of the Dukes of Lorraine, the hotel was built in the mid-16th century. It has only 7 rooms or suites, and so guests receive personal attention, especially from the superbly helpful Aimee, who knows Nancy well and is a fount of knowledge and advice. The breakfasts are superb and the rooms tasteful and well appointed. This was the best hotel of the seven we stayed in during two weeks in Alsace-Lorraine.

An exquisite property

This is a gorgeous old mansion with a marvelous staff.
It is well-located to visit beautiful Nancy.
The staff is gracious and helpful.
Breakfast was delicious.

Beautifully appointed and updated rooms in a historic building and close to so many things! I loved walking through the area at night and seeing the summer light and music show at the town hall that our hostess recommended.

Hotel was great. staff was excellent. location was great.
Only slight negative was that breakfast was too pricey for what it was. I understand that given that it is a small hotel a buffet would be difficult to have. The preparation and delivery was inefficient, quality good.
Reception staff was excellent. They personally walked me to and from the parking location upon arrival and at departure.
Highly recommend . One of the nicest hotels in our month in France. Suite was large and extremely comfortable.Understand that this is an historical landmark that has be exquisitely restored and run as a high class small boutique hotel. Thank you for our experience
