Big rooms, quiet, clean, helpful staff. All the amenities available. Stylish decor. Nice courtyard. Nice pool (didnt try). Excellent breakfast in a lively breakfast room. There are more beautiful areas in Montpell but I would not hesitate to come back. Really great!!

Booking system nightmare
We went away to search for another hotel without success. I then looked up on line and found the Oceana did in fact have spaces.
We returned to the reception. I was then told that yes sometimes agents have available rooms that don’t appear on their own booking system.
We went back into the street to book with all our luggage.
We were trying to book on the Oceana official website. I could see there were rooms. It took ages as on a small screen some of the options didn’t show, we couldn’t work out how to put in our telephone number in a way the system accepted it. Then the payment wouldn’t go through.
I tried the phone number for the Oceana website and nobody answered.
Éventuellement we managed to book. It took one hour before we managed to book it.
We returned to reception with our booking. Spoke to very nice man on reception. By this time it’s 21:00. It then took a good 15 minutes to check us in.
It is crazy that you can go into a hotel in person and be told there is no space when the hotel actually has rooms that are available.
It would have been more helpful if the receptionist had said « welcome, sit down, try booking on line ». Even then it is crazy that the receptionists can’t do the booking.

Surprisingly good hotel with excellent breakast as well as location.
