Horrible attitude. GM not even calling us after being robbed and harassed in the room.
When my wife discovered them searching our belongings, she had to physically push the intruders out of the room while shouting for help. The hotel’s response was dangerously slow.
It is now 18:37—nearly three hours later—and the Director is still "unreachable." The staff has shown zero empathy and zero urgency. Their only response was to offer a room change or to pay our money back and for us to move to another hotel in the city, in case we don't feel safe in their hotel. They also told us to "go to the police if we want to mention it. They just informed us that indeed there was an incident and a saw the intruders in the cameras.
A hotel that allows intruders to walk into a room occupied by a woman and children—and then refuses to take responsibility when jewelry is stolen and a physical confrontation occurs—is not a safe place to stay. This is a massive breach of security and a total failure of management. Marriott Corporate will be informed. Their attitude is unacceptable.
