A truly beautiful, privately run hotel that delights with great attention to detail and a very special atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the authentic charm of a South of France château.
The wonderfully enchanted garden and the historic château are particularly charming, giving the property its own unique, romantic atmosphere – exactly the flair one hopes for from the South of France. The beautiful pool is wonderfully quiet and invites you to relax and linger.
The breakfast is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. The small bar is also a real highlight: With a good glass of wine, which is served personally by the hosts, the evening can be brought to a wonderful close. In general, you notice that many things are made possible personally and upon request – a very pleasant and warm type of hospitality.

Horrible
We were evacuated following the Gironde fires. I have already posted the review on the site.
Unbearable boss who only thinks about making money, speaks very poorly to the employees. Dirty room, dirty pool, no bikes or dining except on Saturday night, no bar, minimal breakfast,

Bonjour je ne comprends pas votre avis aussi négatif et je comprends que les circonstances ont été particulièrement difficiles pour vous vos affirmations sont gratuites et ne correspondent pas a l réalité il y'a un restaurant a 2 minutes a pied et nous proposons des planches pour les vélos l office de tourisme a 300 metres en propose nous espérons que vous avez pu retrouver votre maison sans encombre

The place was full of cobwebs and dust on virtually every piece of furniture we encountered. We had a Kitchen area with no light and also a seating area with no TV. The TV was situated in the bedroom and had no access to satellite TV. The TV was at least 20 years old if not more. The breakfast for €12 was very poor compared to other hotels we have stayed in. The car park arrangements were awful in that they have a gravel drive and no mechanism to move heavy suitcases from the car park to your room there were no there was no left Anywhere and we as pensioners. I had to carry our very heavy suitcases up 14 steps and down again when we left there was no option for any dinner and no recommendations to go Anywhere for dinner. Regretfully the whole experience was not what we had anticipated staying in a Château style hotel at the end of our holiday. The only good point about our stay at this hotel was the bed which was very comfortable.

Disappointment!!!
We had a "box", at booking we accept to pay an extra 30€, because the room(s) corresponding to these gifts were not available!!
On arrival, a little disappointed, the pictures of the park on the site are much more pretty than in reality...
Very spacious room, very châtelain decor, a bottle of wine and 2 glasses are placed on the desk, but it is not included in the price....
Big disappointment for breakfast, nothing extraordinary, we arrived the last, apparently, no one had come to see if everything was okay, the coffee machine had a problem, dishes were empty, we had to go in search of someone to have what was missing
Very disappointed, we will not recommend this place!!!!

bien entendu nous ne pouvons vous identifier ce qui ne facilite pas nos remarques
le vin n est pas inclus dans votre box dans de nombreuse autres il est inclus car cela dépend de la valeur du coffret en tout état de cause l étiquette donne 15 euros ce qui n est pas la mer à boire les prestations de votre box le précise très clairement..
pour le petit déjeuner celui ci comme nous vous en avons informé ferme a 10 00h je pense que la personne en charge ( 10 mètres) a du vous proposer ce que vous souhaitiez ce qui ne vous satisfait pas Désolé

Perfect for a romantic weekend
Very nice experience at the Castle of Lantic. Lots of charm and authenticity, clean and comfortable room, homemade breakfast a treat! Very welcome from the owners and staff.
