An address to remember

The Maison Olea Reformée is a very pleasant place, quiet, cool, and with a tree-filled courtyard in the heart of Marseille.
The rooms are spacious and well-decorated. The breakfast is delicious.
The Maison Olea Reformée is very well located in Marseille.
To conclude, the host Sophie is very welcoming.

A beautiful discovery!

Not to hide anything from you, when I said "goodbye" to Sophie, our host, when we left, I had a serious pinch in the heart... This sums up our stay.
Let's start with the location. Maison Oléa is located on Rue Thiers, 50 metres from La Canebière (Reformés), and about 150 metres from the metro (and tram) station of the same name. The place is therefore ideal to reach the old port or other parts of Marseille, whether on foot (15 minutes to the port) or by public transport. If you want to “climb” to the Place Jaurès or the Cours Julien, it is also nearby. In short, from a situation point of view, there is really nothing to complain about:-).
If one can admit that Rue Thiers is a bit "dark", once you walk through the door and the entrance hall, you enter a kind of little paradise. The room that welcomes you for breakfast, on the ground floor, is very nicely appointed. The decoration is both warm and delicate. What then to say about the courtyard, a real island of green unsuspected from the outside, of absolute calm, which gives you the impression of being in a small village square, while you are in the heart of a big city.
The rooms are located on the first floor of the house. Ours (the suite) was located on the street front. The insulation is good, the dimensions of the rooms very respectable and the decoration just as neat as on the ground floor.
Now we come to the highlight of our stay: the welcome of Sophie, which can be summarized in two words: smile and kindness.
Our host took the time to explain his city, advise us, take care of us being of great availability, etc... She also prepares and brings breakfast, varied and complete.
In short, if I ever return to Marseille, the question of housing will not arise: I already have my address!

Stylish stay with a wonderful host!

What an amazing find in Marseilles! Once you step inside the doors everything is beautifully and thoughtfully designed and Sophie is a wonderful host. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and stylish and breakfast in the lovely garden was faultless too!

A wonderful address

We found this little bed and breakfast and are more than delighted everything was perfect: from welcoming a rare kindness to personalized and hearty breakfast, passing by a cozy and perfectly decorated room. In short, we loved our stay at Maison Olea and very warmly recommend this address

An absolute delight

Sophie is a very welcoming hostess and her taste is impeccable. She gave us good advice to enhance our 3 night stay. The breakfast was truly tasteful. We were only sorry that it was the wrong time of year to enjoy the outside space. Definitely our first port of call when we return to Marseille.
