Excellent stay at affordable price for Paris

Excellent experience for Norman travellers. 2 steps from the metro station leading directly to Saint Lazare. Very quiet room overlooking a garden. Cleanliness impeccable in the charm of an old grinder. Many small affordable restaurants nearby. Only +++

Not bad but a little far and too many oddities

The hotel is very close to the metro station. But it's worth remembering that this station is the fifth from Montparnasse station and, in principle, it is already a suburb.
The hotel itself is not bad. The rooms are large, the rooms have a bathtub. This is a rarity in Paris.
Plus, for a little money, they offer a high-quality continental breakfast. Wi Fi works good. And they were able to put me up on the ground floor. There is no lift in the hotel, and this was a great advantage.
My main problem was that I reserved a room through a website which was presented to me by the search engine as the official website of the hotel - hotelpatiobrancion.site.
When I booked the room, the website promised that I would be able to cancel the reservation in two days before coming. But after booking, it turned out that it was impossible to cancel it without a fine, and the booking went through booking.com . Even more strange was that I lived in a room alone, but the city tax was charged from me as from two people, referring to the fact that it was a double room. This is the first time I've encountered this in all history of my travels. I don't mind 6 euros, but it all looks extremely strange and unpleasant. In any case, I recommend to be careful when booking and make scans of each step of the booking.

Shabby and poorly insulated

Lovely hotel from the outside but inside it's pretty average... Everything is shabby, my room was small with tiny toilet/shower. The room is also poorly insulated. You can hear everything that happens in the hallway, especially the cleaning ladies who are really not discreet in the morning... I had a so-so night...
