Good establishment

Very welcome
the warm and smiling school principal.
Neat room (scent of atmosphere cocooning , nice decoration with clean bedding )
Restaurant on the ground floor well kept well-laid tables with a bar.
We take you in hand right away with all the explanations required

To flee !!!!

To flee!!!! We arrived 20 minutes late. We informed the manager of our delay. She didn't want to know anything: "The reception closes at 9 p.m., it's too late, you won't have the keys." I explained the problem we had on the road plus the fact that we have three young children, she didn't want to know anything and hung up. No refund of course. We had to rent another room for 90 euros to sleep 5 people in a double bed.... booking should not reference this hotel.

DISASTER

After knowing we could not make the check in until following day, the owner left us out at 20h!!!nowhere to go. She cancelled the reservation and sale the room to somebody else. I lost my money and the room. But she got a great deal isn't it?
The place is very dated and dirty too
I highly recommend not to use this place ever

Very BAD

Very bad service. I booked (via booking.com) one room for my workers as we hare building some machines in France. They traveled from Italy (6 hour drive) and went all the way to the construction site, when they finished they went to the hotel, it was 21.45 when they arrived and no one was there so they have been forced to sleep in the car, with another full day of work ahead!!!
The day after i called the hotel to ask for explications and the woman just said that my workers didn't show in time and that i had to pay for the night even if the room wasn't used. I asked if they could stay there another night without paying as they weren't given the key, but the reply has been just NO.
It's ridiculous that a hotel has very limited check in opening times: from 5 pm to 9 pm.
Please note that on booking's confirmation e-mail check in and check out times are NOT written anywhere, so how could my workers know it???

Cheap accommodation , 50 km far away from Chamonix

Cheap 2 star hotel. Old-fashioned but quite clean.
Bad things: A bit noisy, because it's too close to the main road. Tiny toilet.
Among, positive things: Nice balcony, friendly staff, free wifi and parking.
