A weekend we will never forget!

Seriously this place is exceptional! Stunning building, well thought out interior, incredible breakfast and best of all staff that go above and beyond and with a smile!!! Everyone was so kind and helpful and Liam in particular could not have done more to make our stay a weekend we will never forget! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Extremely noisy.

Avoid if you want peace to sleep. It is 2:30 AM and people are still sitting outside my window and talking loudly. The poor sound insulation of the windows means that I hear everything. I called the front desk twice: once at 1:00 AM and once at 1:30 AM. I received a sufficient response: we are in a private space, we do what we want. I requested a refund for my night, and I am waiting for a response.

Firstly to talk around location, the Moxy is a little out of the way from the centre of Lille. So if travelling from Lille Europe you may have a 25 to 30 minute walk so if travelling with either luggage or elderly guests get a taxi.
Uber does work in Lille and they have a dedicated pick up point close to the station. When I checked probably 8-12 Euros would be the cost.
The hotel is situated in an old building that has been modernised.
My room was on the 4th floor, rooms can be described as modern and industrial in design.
The Shower was both Rainfall and Handjet which is a massive plus.
WiFi is available throughout the property and is of good speed quality.
My only downside items.
As the metal bedframe is mesh based this creaked when I moved or turned in the night.
The other item was the air conditioning which is set at 22 degrees centigrade, great in cold weather but with no individual adjustment available in hot weather the room could not be further cooled.
Based on the Aircon alone I would not choose to stay here again in a summer month.
The staff on reception were friendly enough, but with limited English skills.
I didn’t use the hotel breakfast so cannot report on it but with many cafes within walking distance you can save a little by not eating here 👍

What a disappointment!

Big disappointment. Upon arrival, I am asked for a credit card imprint as a guarantee: normal. But I realize half an hour later that my account has been charged.
Room: the sink is clogged.
On Saturday night, May 16, the ground floor of the hotel hosts a noisy wedding. When at midnight I contact the reception, unable to sleep, with my mobile phone because there is no phone in the rooms, the receptionist tells me that the hotel is perfectly entitled to host these receptions and suggests that since I cannot sleep, I should come to the party!
Low-end hotel, deplorable and careless welcome, go elsewhere!

The hotel was in an excellent location and is an interesting concept. The room was well designed but the mattress was so-so. There was a strange odor in the hallway like glue.
I would stay again hoping that these issues woyld be improved.
