A little jewel in the heart of the resort
Friendly hotel, ideally located in the heart of the resort with all the necessary comforts for an excellent stay. We'll be right back.

It was okay, but I prefer to spend a little more and the facilities are good.
Nice and cozy family hotel, however the luxury of a resort is lacking. Hotel is outdated. Really needs a pimp turn.
Breakfast is minimal, no fresh fruit (must buy yourself) in addition to no variation
Bar in the hotel is cozy and nice, however apres ski with cozy music is missing.
Rooms are basic and very small; especially the bath room (can hardly turn your ass).
Town has 1 street where the highlife is and the resturants run with 2 rounds so you are sent away if you have not finished eating.
We're not going back there. Prefer to Austria for hospitality and apres ski.

Our worst skiing experience!
I must post a comment to avoid others getting fooled like us!
The hotel is well located in the village of the resort but it takes you 10 min walk great max to go from one end to the other so the location in the end does not bring much.
The staff is generally polite.
Everything else is just to flee.
The hotel has remained in its juices for decades... old carpets, 80s shower curtain, mini TV, no coffee or kettle as you usually find.
Impossible to sleep because very but really very noisy no sound insulation.
Our room (the 25 ) smelled moldy, we had to open the windows continuously to support the smell!
Breakfast just a local cata nothing but industrial with very little choice.
The ski room is unheated with 2 seats (to put the boots on) for tt the hotel. In addition, the seats are located in the entrance of the hotel...
The sauna we use it only once because not very clean, you have to book in advance and you have the right to 30 min no more! c too short because the time to do your sauna plus take the shower you have to speed so relaxation we will go back... otherwise you can also go back to your room sweating in plain sight.
Parking is next to the hotel but c for a fee! 80€ a week.
We tell you that there are 4 partner restaurants, we think maybe a free aperitif or a discount if we stay at the hotel. No no nothing Nada they say partnership because it is nearby! Anyway, shit.
In short Valmorel we will return but certainly not from this hotel that is to flee!

Nous vous remercions d'avoir pris le temps de partager votre retour, même si nous sommes désolés que votre séjour n'ait pas répondu à vos attentes.
2 ou 3 petites choses ont retenu notre attention
Il ne faut pas 10 minutes à pied pour accéder aux pistes qui sont situé a 240 mètres( selon google) mais plutôt 3 minutes
Concernant la bouilloire et le café ils sont à disposition sur demande comme indiqué dans le guide en chambre que nous vous invitons à lire.
Nous prenons note de vos remarques concernant l'état de la chambre(dont la moquette a été changé il y a 2 ans), le confort, l'isolation phonique, le petit-déjeuner (qui dispose de plus de 30 articles différents dont 1/3 sont fournis par des partenaires locaux), le local à skis et le sauna (privatisé pour 30 minutes gratuitement autant de fois que vous le souhaitez).
Vos observations seront transmises à notre équipe afin d'évaluer les améliorations à apporter.
Concernant le parking, celui-ci est effectivement indépendant de l'hôtel et publique son tarif est indiqué ainsi que la possibilité de réserver une place vous sont indiqué dans les mails avant la réservation.
Quant à nos restaurants partenaires, ce partenariat a pour objectif de proposer à nos clients des établissements de qualité situés à proximité, et qui vous accordent 10% de remise sur vos repas (il suffit de leur indiqué que vous êtes à l'hôtels du Bourg .(donc pas de foutage de gueule pour reprendre vos mots)
Nous regrettons également votre ressenti concernant l'odeur dans la chambre n°25. Si cette situation nous avait été signalée pendant votre séjour, nous aurions fait le nécessaire pour intervenir rapidement ou, selon les disponibilités, vous proposer une autre chambre.
Nous sommes désolés que votre expérience ne reflète pas la qualité de séjour que nous souhaitons offrir à nos clients et vous remercions pour vos remarques, qui nous permettent de poursuivre nos efforts d'amélioration.

Very bad experience at this hotel.
Very bad experience at this hotel.
The room already had several problems: the carpet was dirty, the cleaning clearly left something to be desired and the shower curtain fell on us several times while we were taking a shower. The Wi-Fi also worked very badly.
But the worst was the smell in the room. She smelled extremely strong cheese, a very unpleasant smell and difficult to bear. We reported it to the owner who explained that it came from the cheese shop next door. However, the room was charged 280 € per night, just like the other rooms, when the smell was really unbearable.
Most shocking was the attitude of the owner. When we explained the problem, he was particularly disrespectful: he laughed openly and almost made fun of the situation, instead of looking for a solution. He simply put perfume in the room, which obviously didn’t fix anything, and made it clear that he wouldn’t make any commercial gestures.
Paying 280 € per night for a dirty room, which smells very bad, and also making the owner laugh in the face is totally unacceptable. Very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and respect.

Lovely hotel
My partner and I just stayed for 5 nights after having visiting the pub over 20 years ago and being left feeling it was comfortable.
20 years on and the hotel is still as comfortable, the staff were all great, beds lovely with lots of additional blankets etc and the balcony was lovely.
I think when we stay again I’d choose a room facing the Bourg as we had quite heavy snowfall during our trip and the road noises for clearance etc were quite loud. That’s not a negative of the hotel as they have no control over this but it did wake us up a couple of times.
The shower head looks really small and we were worried but didn’t need to be, the hot water was immediate and the water pressure was really good.
The breakfast options were nice, it was good that they have a soya milk option, though I’d have loved some peanut butter for morning protein before heading out to the mountains.
Access from the entrance to the free Valmobus was super convenient.
Overall a really lovely stay and I know we’ll be back in the future.
