A pleasant moment of sharing

Besides the site which is worth visiting, you will be received with great courtesy at the Château d'Argens. The cuisine is refined with top-quality dishes. The welcoming staff is at your service. Note that pets are welcome.

Exceptional

Magnificent unique hotel. Old castle renovated and transformed into a hotel with an incredible view and impeccable service.
Few rooms, so perfect for a romantic and peaceful weekend enjoying the pool to the sound of the cicadas.
The spa area is impeccable and the massage is definitely not to be missed.
We spent a wonderful weekend for our 20th wedding anniversary.

Return to the Chateau

We returned to Le Chateau d’Argens some 11 years after we got married here. The return visit did not disappoint. The new owners have taken an already beautiful venue and raised it further. The rooms are lovely and the views and facilities would be hard to improve further. The food was great and the breakfast generous and healthy!
Johan was the perfect host and so helpful. This is the perfect location to just relax or use as a base to explore a beautiful region. 20 minutes will take you the beach and less than 10 to the A8 which gives access to Aix, Nice, Monaco and more.

Beautiful site, excellent dining, renovations would be welcome in certain rooms.

Good reception, easy parking, very nice view from a well-located hotel.
Very good dining for dinner, excellent breakfast for a French clientele but probably needs adjustment for foreign guests as there were no savory products.
On the other hand, the rooms we had deserve a renovation of the bathroom with separation of the toilet, and for a 4-star, one room did not have a window and lacked preparation for herbal tea, coffee, or tea.
It seems that renovations are planned that would be welcome.

The location in a mediaeval castle is wonderful. The restaurant offers very high level cooking at reasonable prices. The restaurant looks out over the Var area. All staff are highly professional but engage well with guests.
