Wonderful family stay

We had a wonderful family stay at Hotel La Fabrique, with two rooms for a long weekend.
The hotel is in a great location. Just be aware that the parking is a short walk from the hotel, so I’d recommend getting the parking details beforehand.
Our rooms were lovely, airy and clean, with everything we needed for a short stay. The decor was beautifully done and in keeping with the building’s original purpose, which gave the hotel lots of character.
The staff were attentive and welcoming, and overall we had a lovely experience. We would definitely stay at Hotel La Fabrique again on our next visit!

Great location for La Rochelle with everything right outside the hotel. We had a comfort room and it was small, so I would recommend upgrading if you can. Great breakfast selection but get down early. It's a quirky hotel, very prison block style inside! People walking through the breakfast area with their cases was a bit strange. Disappointing that the bar was closed during August. No room service or evening meals, just breakfast. Rooms cleaned daily but service was inconsistent. We had two rooms, the second room had bottled water and extra toilet rolls left every day, the first room didn't! Not something we complained about, but it was annoying. Overall it was good for a short stay.

Cell/room without a window

The room for 4 people was cramped, stuffy, and the only ground-level window that exists cannot be opened and is covered with a privacy film. It was more like a cell. Okay for 20 euros but not at the price of 200 euros.

Cosy and good enough for 1-2 nights passing by La Rochelle. The separate toalett and shower make it more difficult to wading your hands after visited the loo. Airconditioner is very good.
Breakfast was okay. Cleaning daily and one little bottle every day is provided.
