Romantic getaway

Second stay at the Hôtel du Pic Blanc, which we highly recommend.
The value for money is excellent. We spent two nights, enjoyed the breakfast (very generous and tasty), the pool, the ping-pong table, the bar, and the restaurant. Each time, the staff was very pleasant, patient, and attentive, and we thank them for it.
We did not take advantage of the spa this time, but we had experienced it the previous time, as well as a couples massage, and we have very fond memories of it.
The hotel's reception rooms (bar and restaurant) are very beautiful, offer magnificent views, and guarantee comfort and privacy.
Thanks again for this little breath of fresh air!

Disappointing!!!!

We have stayed at this hotel three times, the last two experiences were fabulous however our recent stay was very disappointing. It was February half term so the hotel was full but you should not fill a hotel if you do not have room for guests to eat breakfast and sit in the restaurant and bar area. The experience was quite shocking. We came down for breakfast and there was no where to sit and no tables available. The food was not replenished. They ran out of plates, cups, bread, fruit, bowls, hot food, scrambled egg, hash browns , bacon everything . Some days my grown up children had a dry pancake after waiting 10 mins for a plate because there was no food left at breakfast and it wasn’t replenished, It was beyond a joke. I went to the local supermarket and brought my own yogurt and fruit for breakfast as the fruit ran out and was not replenished. We were told the delivery had not arrived but there was fruit in the supermarket. We either couldn’t book for dinner as the restaurant was full with half board guests. One evening we managed to get a table at 8.45 pm and our food was lukewarm. We asked for twin beds for our teenage children and it was made as a double bed. We asked for separate quilts and these were delivered without covers on. I had to put the covers on the quilts myself and separate the beds myself . Towels were not replenished and bath robes were not replaced. A very disappointing stay and we will seriously consider if we will come back. There were not enough staff and no one to seat you in the restaurant , which meant 2 people were sat at a table for four and a family of four had to be separated. This was a completely different experience to the previous two times we had stayed here and was very disappointing stay.

Very nice place to stay and very convenient location for cable cars, walks etc. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pool and spa facilities are good.

Excellent memories Hôtel Le Pic Blanc

We just spent a superb week at the Hôtel Le Pic Blanc in Alpe d'Huez and we are leaving with excellent memories.
The welcome is warm, the hotel is pleasant, the rooms are comfortable, the meals are high-quality, and all the staff are always available with a smile.
A huge thank you to Thomas, Fiona, Maelissa, Céline, Tristan, Théo, and Marie for their kindness, their good humor, and their professionalism. You contributed greatly to making our stay even more pleasant.
A quick shout-out also to Hugo, the bearded receptionist . We haven't forgotten his comment about enduro mountain biking! As if enduro mountain biking were "a sport for...." I hope that after seeing our passion and our enthusiasm, he will look at this sport in a different light. Mountain biking is about pleasure, technique, pushing yourself, and immense respect for the mountain.
Thanks again to the whole team. Keep it up, you are the best! We will return with great pleasure during a future stay in Alpe d'Huez.

Great stay

Mountain side and high floor, very pretty view. Front desk/reception and restaurant staff are as pleasant as they are efficient. Excellent stay!
