Perfect.

A very good welcome, a beautiful decor from the entrance.. The lake view room is very clean and the bedding very good. We did not eat at the restaurant but at the next passage in the Vosges we will come to test..
You can go you will not regret..

Not again.

Rooms are fine for ** standard. Elevator only on request. The balconies go towards the lake, unfortunately the main thoroughfare lies between the hotel and the lake. So it's anything but quiet. The house is getting old. Reception and breakfast are at another hotel nearby, which we did not know before. The restaurant belonging to the hotel had closed. The breakfast buffet was adequate, but also not special. There were several types of bread, but no rolls. There were apples and oranges, but no fruit salad. There were no real cereal bowls either.
A room for bicycles was available in the hotel with reception.
The low point, however, was the fact that at 2pm, after a cold rainy day on the bike, we could only move into our room for an extra fee of 20 EUR, although this (and most other) room was vacant. The reason given was that normal check-in was only from 3.30 p.m. Customer orientation looks different. Even though there are probably not many alternatives left in Gerdmer, I would definitely not book here anymore.

WHAT ABOUT PROFESSIONAL CONSCIENCE?

This was our second visit to this hotel. Nothing to say about the hotel plan. BUT... during the first night, which was ultimately the only one, one of the occupants of my room suffered a serious health problem that required the intervention of the Fire Department and a doctor. NO STAFF in the hotel, REFUSAL to travel by the person who answered our phone call; the room having become uninhabitable (blood everywhere), new phone call to the hotel number and NEW REFUSAL to travel from the same person (manager? responsible?) who finally told us to go occupy another room. What would have happened without the angel help of an occupant of a neighbouring room? And icing on the cake: forced to return home, we had to cancel the reservation of the second night ... which was charged to us in full, including tourist taxes and 150 Euros of room cleaning fees.
And since the end of September, no news...

Cozy hotel with lake view

Warm welcome, very clean and cute rooms in a chalet style, view of the lake, more than pleasant and very complete breakfast! I recommend this hotel very close to the center of Gerardmer and located right at the start of the lake tour.

Excellent value

Excellent value.
Small but functional and clean room. Nickel bathroom.
Special mention for the breakfast which is composed only of fresh products, large salty/sweet choice.
We will come back
