Valentine's Day weekend 2026

We stayed only one night but we fell under the spell of this beautiful house.
We enjoyed the warm welcome from Helen that made us feel at home.
A rich breakfast with homemade jams very good
We breathe an air of change of scenery and the rooms bring us to history.
We'll probably go back.
Thanks to Helen this host at the top.

Disappointing

2 disappointing days overall. Pool inaccessible... then woken up at 5 a.m. by the fire alarm... failure to respect the agreed-upon payment terms... were among the main inconveniences. We also noted the smell of dampness upon entering the house, the gap between the photos and reality, the expired cocoa offered at breakfast... all of this contributed to our disappointment. Our "host" was 500 miles away all weekend and did not deign to respond to requests for compensation afterward. In short: a big disappointment between the dream and reality.

L’agent de la télésurveillance est venu vérifier le déclenchement de l’alarme incendie. C’est la première fois que ça arrive. Au moins ça fonctionne ! La maison est chauffée et n’est pas humide. Madeleine vous a préparé la piscine. Vous pouviez l’utiliser. Nous rechargeons les boites de cacao donc la date à prendre en compte est celle de la recharge. Vous n’avez jamais mentionné à votre arrivée que vous vouliez payer en chèques vacances et vous ne nous avez rien remis. Si au moins vous étiez plus clair dans votre communication. C’est facile après de se plaindre sur les réseaux sociaux.

Pleasant stay in house of character

We spent 2 days at the White Tower.
It is a home with a lot of character, Helen and her family have preserved its authenticity.
The place is quiet, park, orchard, meadows with horses, outdoor pool
make the place a timeless haven.
Excellent Welcoming,
Good bedding,
Very hearty breakfast with special breads, fresh baguettes, croissants, cheeseboard, wide variety of homemade jams. And even eggs for those who wish. A special mention for homemade apple juice makes apples from the orchard.
A shared kitchen area with refrigerator, hob, microwave and dishes is a plus.
Near St Valery sur Somme and Crotoy
We'll be back!

False announcement, to avoid!

False announcement and catastrophic building! The bedding was not in good condition, swimming pool 5min from the building and in a courtyard of another B&B (suffice to say that it is awkward when there is other person ..) heated pool when in reality there is just a tarpaulin and unfiltered pool.
The owners should delete the ad from all platforms, it's scandalous to sell rooms in such states... no skills.

1 avis juste pour nuire parce que je vous ai dit que vous étiez une famille malhonnête… vous inventez n’importe quoi : la piscine est filtrée 24h sur 24! Nous avons de nombreux autres avis positifs pour le confort de nos grandes chambres avec une super literie… nos employés de maison sont quotidiennement présentes. Et comme Tripadvisor ne vérifie pas l’authenticité des avis, tout est permis à Monsieur Q!

An address full of charm in the Bay of Somme

We stayed 4 nights with our little boy of 3 years in the blue room and we were greeted very warmly by Helen and her family.
Even the dog and the little cat are very nice and add a little extra to the stay.
The building is very well located to visit this beautiful region (Le Crotoy, Saint Valéry etc...). It is quiet in the heart of a large estate welcoming horses and ponies.
Breakfast is absolutely delicious with local produce and very appreciable before going for a walk.
Being able to enjoy the pool was a chance for us, the weather was with us!
Hélène advised us very well on the area, restaurants... and we enjoyed exchanging in the morning with the other hosts.
In short, a very smooth stay in a very nice place, we recommend!
