Near Dijon Main Train Station

The hotel is near Dijon train station, less than 100 steps from the station. Those with large suitcases can easily walk there.
The room was clean, maybe not huge, but comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. There are restaurants near the hotel, and it's within walking distance of the city center (Walking Street) and feels safe.

Terrible experience

Hotel with small rooms (30 cm on each side of the bed to walk through) and with only one towel in the bathroom, no minibar, and noisy air conditioning. The staff also skipped tidying up the room and our request to speak with a manager was denied. Very disappointing experience. Avoid.

Good location in the city. Stayed for 1 night and could easily walk to shops and restaurants. Tram runs directly outside - could hear it a bit but not a bother to us as you should expect noise when you’re in a city. Hotel seems to have been recently refurbished. Room was clean, modern, and a good size. Parking situation is at the nearby train station but this info wasn’t provided ahead of time - and our message about it wasn’t replied to - so this was quite stressful as there isn’t really anywhere to pull up outside the hotel (and it’s on a one-way street) and ask at reception. Overall, a decent budget option for a short stay.

We enjoyed our one night stay in a triple room. Excellent location for the station (one minute walk) and the centre of Dijon (5 minute walk).
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room had good air con (needed in very warm Dijon) and a powerful shower. We were able to store our bags between check out and our train so we could explore Dijon easily.

Style wins over practicality

This is a 3 star hotel. I have lots of experience in 3 star hotels and this one disappoints. First, let me say that the hotel was very clean and the staff at reception were friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was very spacious and had high quality ceramic fixtures (full size bathtub, toilet, sink). There was a hairdryer, liquid hand soap by the sink and hair and body gel by the shower / bathtub controls. There was a basket with 2 bath towels and the room had 2 hooks on which they could be hung. There were no glasses or cups. hand towels or towel racks..
The sleeping room is dominated by an enormous bed. There is a small wardrobe (open, with no door, 5 hangers and 2 shelves). There is a desktop (not a desk - no drawers). Next to the bed, there were small metal stands, with no storage drawers or shelves. For those who read from paper, rather than a screen, there are some places in the room where the lighting is adequate. An electric kettle is supplied, but no cups, saucers, tea or coffee.
With the lack of adequate storage options, plan on living primarily out of your suitcase.
