Domaine Gille offers good rooms with all the comfort you need. Nice hosts, good and quiet rooms, parking space, airco, fine breakfast. We stayed here with our children in the family room, and we were very pleased. Price/quality was exceptionally good.

Heart of Burgundy

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Domain Gille in Comblanchien, France . We had a lovely room, with fireplace and elegantly appointed in French decor. Comfortable bed and cozy duvet. Breakfast was served in the adjoining farmhouse, richly appointed with antiques and pictures from the winery’s storied 500 year history. The farmhouse is nestled in the heart of Burgundy surrounded by vineyards. This location was a perfect base from which to experience nearby wine tastings, explore chateaus and castles. From Domaine Gille it is a short drive to Beaune to the South and Dijon to the North. Wonderful accommodations, wine, food and new friends!

Great location and friendly staff

We spent a few nights in the lovely old house, on a working vineyard, whilst walking and cycling (and, obviously, wine tasting...) in the area.
We received a warm and rather unexpected welcome - we are used to conversing with B&B owners in French so it was a refreshing change to hear an American accent from the Sales Manager who also greets guests!
Our room was lovely and well equipped, although the air conditioning unit could only really be used when we were not sleeping as it sounded like there was an aircraft landing in the room, which was a little ironic given the aviation memorabillia in the house!
The room was not cleaned or made up during our stay but this was not a problem for us.
The WiFi, when it worked, was good - we had problems throughout with various of our devices disconnecting and then they took forever to reconnect - this is, addmitedly, a first world problem but annoying nevertheless.
We were put off ordering a breakfast (for €5 per person) by the aforementioned staff member, but on our last day, when we did order it and had it seated outside overlooking the garden, was perfectly acceptable - nothing extraordinary but just what we needed.
The overground pool was a bit cold but good for dangling your legs in whilst reading to help us cool off.
We had an excellent guided tasting of a selection of the domaine's red and white wines - probably the best tasting we have ever had in the region, although this is probably because it was conducted by a native English speaker so we got more out of it than we otherwise might have.
All in all this is a lovely place to stay.

Divin !

Accueil chaleureux, chambre soignée alliant modernité et tradition, literie ultra confortable... Repas succulent du chef Patrick, dégustation de vins divins avec explications d une rare pédagogie de Mathieu... On se sent à la maison, avec des amis... Douceurs, plaisirs et volupté dans ce monde d aujourd'hui ❤️

Sehr gute Unterkunft in Comblanchien

Hier merkt man die Liebe zu jeden Detail, das ganze Haus ist wunderbar eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das angebotene Abendessen ist in jedem Fall zu empfehlen, insbesondere mit den angebotenen Weinen. Frühstück und Abendessen finden in den privaten Räumlichkeiten bzw. auf der Terrasse der Gastgeber statt. Hier hat man einen schönen Blick über den Garten und die Weinberge.
Die perfekte Sauberkeit der Unterkunft ist uns besonders positiv aufgefallen.
Insgesamt kann man die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
