Good kitchen in the middle of the village

Good restaurant in the middle of the village. The room is fantastic with retained old environment. Well cooked and good food from a menu with good variety, it felt that the kitchen uses good ingredients. Only minus a little inexperienced wait staff

Hotel from another era

Disappointed by this hotel which denotes with the area. Small room, attic, old, cramped bathroom with bathtub.
Only positive point is the hotel’s location close to the castle and the Welcoming.
Good for one night stop in Chenonceaux.

Our room was small, warm, without air conditioning, with a window overlooking the restaurant below. After a long bike ride (Bike Reading), we hoped for a refreshing shower, but the hose was leaking, making the shower impossible. We reported the problem at reception, but no solution or apology was offered. The breakfast was very basic, and the bike storage, located outside and insecure, which is surprising for an accredited establishment "Bike Welcome".

Very average!

Pros: 2 steps from the castle, very friendly staff.
Cons: no elevator, cramped room, no storage, no sound insulation, carpet to change, bathtub without bung, without curtain to shower, nothing to put his toilet bag, old decor, bars of the dryer very dirty as well as velux.
Suffocating heat even with the air conditioning provided in the room. High room rates and breakfast rates are not worth them! And
Not suitable for people with reduced mobility.......

A few steps from the castle

Nice hotel a few steps from the castle. Small but nice room, newly renovated and equipped with everything you need. It does not have a reserved parking space but a few meters public parking and train station. Good breakfast served in the hotel next door
