bed and breakfast of charm

Beautiful place, both outside and inside, tastefully decorated, comfortable (quality bedding), impeccable welcome, homemade breakfast in the garden English style, adorable hosts, Trip Tip for walks, highly recommend

Awful experience

The old man managing the place is really a bad person. Rooms are noisy, most without toilets. Tasteless decoration. The owner doesn’t make you feel at home at all. There are plenty of great places around that should definitely be preferred.

Bonjour, nous sommes très surpris de votre commentaire. Toutes nos chambres sont équipées de sanitaires individuels et privatifs (WC séparés). Le propriétaire n'est pas un vieux Monsieur. Merci de retirer de toutes urgences votre commentaire avant poursuite.
Vous avez peut être confondu les logements dans lesquels vous avez séjourné. Bien à vous.

Welcoming

Albert and his daughter Amandine were most welcoming. We stayed for 3 days.
He was very patient with my very limited French and would often refer to the dictionary if he could not find the right word in English.
Very comfortable bedroom with tub/shower and toilet. Very clean and we'll decorated.
My wife particularly loved the bed linens!
Sumptuous breakfast of homemade yogurt and a delicate flan/custard, bread, croissants, pain au chocolate, cheese and ham, fruit and of course coffee.
House was Alberts grandmother's and he has restored it beautifully in French country style.
Lovely gardens where we had breakfast one warm morning.
Great help with suggestions for walks and places to visit, including restaurants in Salers.
