Excellent, generous cuisine

An excellent experience with generous cuisine, flavorful and high-quality dishes, all at a great price.
The service was five-star; we had not made a reservation, yet they kindly found a table for seven adults and two children plus one baby stroller, despite the restaurant being full that evening!
Excellent passion fruit mojito / porn star / ZEP cocktail!
Incredible view of Notre Dame du Roc
P.S.: We did not take any photos of the dishes, but the detour is truly worth it.

Passing by on a motorcycle.

Central location..... large and bright breakfast room, small but tidy room, clean bathroom with a large shower.
Motorcycle box in free service, price ok.
Ideal for a night of passing by motorcycle.

Stop for an unexpected

We stopped in Castellane for a coffee and found our car with a flat tire at 7 pm. Forced then to stop in this town we had a very kind meeting with the owner of this hotel who welcomed us very well and was very understanding of our situation. A nice 10 for empathy and kindness. Also a good vote for the chamber. Thank you.

Centrally located somewhat old hotel

This quite run-down hotel is centrally located on the main square of the town with a pretty old town and offers a good starting point for a trip to the Gorges du Verdon, which are in the immediate vicinity.
The reception opens at 3pm and closes at 8pm. Only during this time can you check in. The staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar are closed on Wednesday.
The rooms are simply furnished and have no other facilities besides a TV and electric heating. Breakfast for 12€ is so far ok. Positive is the parking for vehicles in a closed barn right next to the hotel.

Lunch in Castellane

Good restaurant in the center of town, dishes fancy.
Friendly service, served quickly even at full terrace. Prices are reasonable - not excessive as on the coast.
The day ticket is recommended. There is something for every taste.
