TO FLEE
Accommodation to escape urgently we were in a room that did not lock the so-called host and omnipresent scream in the middle of the night breakage and doors speaks for itself but the music deep down people go in like in a mill no security the mother of the latter denies everything loop if you have children and a family did not come you will not be safe and moreover it does not refund and very rude atmosphere was so uncomfortable that we left!

Avoid this hotel
The hotel claims to have 24 hour reception, but when my son arrived early evening, it was locked and the owner did not return. He had to book alternative accommodation but the owner does not reply to emails or messages and will not authorise a refund.

The person who manages this establishment who cannot be described as a host is dishonest, thief and in bad faith.
Being in Carcassonne for the day and having missed my train which was the last to leave Carcassonne at 8:45 p.m., I looked for accommodation improvised and I chose the easy way (not so easy after all in the end). ) to search for an available room via Booking. Having found this person's room available on Booking, I reserve it (9:01 p.m. at the time of booking) and immediately go to the address of the establishment (9:20 p.m.). Arriving there, to my great surprise the establishment is closed and no one answers my calls. After 10-15 minutes of waiting, still not having anywhere to sleep and having resigned myself to the fact that I could not benefit from the room which I was nevertheless able to reserve by payment via Booking, I had to cancel the reservation on Booking and fall back on another solution for accommodation (fortunately there are reliable professionals in this city, not like this thief). The next morning, to my great surprise, I discovered that the dishonest person whom I cannot describe as a host had indicated on Booking that the reservation had been canceled by him because I had not shown up and that I did not was not going to be reimbursed. Stunned to learn this, I contacted him via Booking (because he never answers calls) as well as Booking support to try to understand his motivations and clear up the misunderstanding, but according to him the check-in is supposed to be to be done before 9 p.m., he had to come before this deadline and that he was within his right not to make the reimbursement. Either, he has set as a rule that check-in must be done before 9 p.m., which is completely understandable, something that I do not dispute in any way. But in this case why allow you to make a reservation the same evening after 9 p.m. from Booking since such a reservation is necessarily not compatible with the regulations that the person themselves has set? I try to reason with him but nothing works, stubborn as a mule, or rather more dishonest and in bad faith, he remains clinging to his first fallacious argument. This thief (yes, let's call a spade a spade) is therefore content to just leave his establishment bookable the same evening after the check-in deadline to abuse people who will have the misfortune of making a reservation for a room that does not It's already no longer available! And the unfortunate person who falls into the trap just has to go back in time to be able to show up before the check-in deadline, believing this clown who makes no one laugh. This is a scam, pure and simple. And the misfortune in all this is that Booking clears itself and indicates that it is up to the advertiser to ensure that their ad is deactivated as soon as it is no longer valid but that if they do not do so they cannot do anything on their side to oblige it and that reimbursement depends on the goodwill of the advertiser. RUN AWAY!!! DO NOT GO THERE
DON'T GO THERE. It was not at all clear from the booking description that the bathroom was shared. The room without air conditioning was very hot. his dog was roaming freely around the house and peed in the corridor in front of our bedroom door. The owner didn't seem particularly sober and when we complained about the dog he told us that he could do as he wanted in his own home. We left at midnight and slept in the car so as not to stay in there. He made it appear that we didn't show up at the checkin and Booking didn't respond to our complaints. We lost the money.
