The room was small but the bed, the sheets, pillows and the towels were very very comfy, made us sleep like real babies even if we were in the city center. The shower is small and the water drips everywhere when using it, but everything was clean and worked perfectly.

Deplorable.
This hotel initially displayed a rate of €190. A promotion offered it at €120. The reviews were good, even very good, the breakfast was rated "fabulous." One could therefore expect a quality service:
- no one at the reception (probably in training) incomprehensible as their mastery of French was almost non-existent,
- uncomfortable bedding (two small mattresses joined together as a large bed,
- awakened by cooking smells throughout the room very early in the morning to the point of feeling nauseous,
- breakfast reduced to the bare minimum in a very small space (only four tables in the entrance hall), absence of tea, only two small pastries, choice between only two jams, no fruit juice, mediocre quality coffee, and finally milk that had soured, thus undrinkable.
Extremely disappointing experience that is absolutely not up to the standards of an establishment of this type. Management needs to address all these shortcomings at the risk of losing its clientele.

One of the worst "4 Star" Hotels I have ever stayed at.
Avoid this hotel at all costs, especially during the Cannes Film Festival.
We paid a substantial premium rate for a 6-night stay at Crisol Belle Epoque, a property listed as a 4-star hotel, and the experience fell dramatically below even the most basic hospitality standards one should expect at that level.
Over the course of six nights, our room was only serviced TWICE. Even then, “cleaning” consisted solely of making the bed and replacing towels. The room was never properly cleaned once. The carpets were stained, old, and fraying, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, used coffee mugs sat untouched for days, and coffee pods were never replenished throughout the entire stay. We eventually gave up and bought coffee elsewhere every morning.
We also repeatedly ran out of toilet paper and had to ask the front desk for additional rolls multiple times during the week, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one advertising itself as a 4-star property charging Cannes Film Festival pricing.
One of the only times the room was “cleaned,” it was done by the front desk employee rather than housekeeping staff, which made it very clear the hotel was severely understaffed and unprepared for guests during one of the busiest weeks of the year.
The bathroom setup was also terrible. There was no proper shower barrier/glass wall for the tub, so the bathroom floor flooded after every single shower.
What made the experience even worse was management’s complete indifference. We requested to speak with management regarding our concerns and were told they would call us back. They never did. After enduring these issues for nearly a week, we requested a simple one-hour late checkout as a courtesy and were flatly denied.
At a minimum, a 4-star hotel should be able to provide consistent housekeeping, basic cleanliness, stocked toiletries and supplies, and responsive guest service. None of those minimum expectations were met here.
This hotel charges Cannes Film Festival pricing while delivering worse service than a budget roadside motel. Poorly maintained, severely understaffed, and completely lacking in basic hospitality standards.
There are countless hotel options in Cannes. Stay literally anywhere else.

Not really a hotel
Catastrophic hotel does not deserve 4 stars we were customer in this hotel for 5 years which was called Simone it has always been a simple but clean hotel now it has become a poor poorly maintained hotel with no Service more express lunch as he calls it despite having informed the reception the day before our bathroom has dirty tiles products available of poor quality stain seals poorly maintained there were hairs left on a very unpleasant bottle
We will never come back to this hotel too ashamed the future changes announced by the receptionist they want to remove breakfasts, no more room cleaning Service and towel change only with surcharge I think the future will be a key box to save the reception
You just have to look at my photos to get an idea

Nous vous présentons nos plus plates excuses pour l'état de votre chambre. Les problèmes que vous décrivez, notamment la saleté, les joints mal entretenus et les cheveux laissés sur un produit, sont absolument inacceptables et ne reflètent en aucun cas les standards de propreté et de qualité que nous défendons. Soyez assuré que nous avons immédiatement lancé une enquête pour comprendre ce qui s'est passé et nous allons prendre des mesures correctives.
Nous comprenons votre déception face aux changements que vous avez pu constater. Il est vrai que l'hôtel, sous son nouveau nom, a évolué. Cependant, nous tenons à clarifier un malentendu concernant nos services futurs :
Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas supprimé, il continuera d'être une option pour nos clients.
Le service de ménage n'est pas complètement retiré. Un service léger (vidage des poubelles et changement des serviettes) est inclus et proposé quotidiennement. Un ménage complet, quant à lui, peut être réservé sur demande pour un coût nominal afin d'offrir plus de flexibilité à nos clients.
Notre objectif est de moderniser l'expérience tout en conservant un service de qualité et un contact humain, loin du modèle "boîte à clés" que vous craignez. La présence de notre équipe à la réception en est la preuve.
Nous sommes désolés que nous n'ayons pas pu répondre à vos attentes et que vous ayez l'impression que nous n'honorons plus l'héritage de l'hôtel que vous avez connu et aimé. Nous utiliserons votre avis constructif pour nous améliorer.
