Fabulous Fabulous Hotel
We have spent 4 days at this marvelous hotel near Calvi. The location is perfect .. 10 minutes to Calvi in a perfect peaceful setting. The suites are great .. beautifully decorated and spacious. The pool area and other amenities, truly class. I should also mention the drive inside past the gate in the evening, so beautiful and inviting. The service and kindness of those representing the hotel is absolutely A++. Knowledgeable, helpful, always attentive.
The experience here is one of the best we ever had. This is truly a place to come back to.

Unfortunately does not live up to its standards at all
Room:
We had a suite on the ground floor (overnight price, per night for two adults and two children 970), and the room was musty and damp, which is completely unacceptable in a five-star hotel! My inquiry at the reception about other rooms was rejected. The justification given was that it would not be possible to change to another room. We were also not offered any alternative or compensation, which I also find impossible in a five-star hotel.
The room was already worn out in many parts, chipped door frames, wobbly handles, many things do not work (toilet flush does not work, lamps did not work). Spider webs in the room, broken furniture, etc.!
The air conditioning also smelled very unpleasant and musty.
I am sorry, that is just not acceptable!
Overall, the rooms and also parts of the hotel are definitely in dire need of renovation.
Fitness room:
Here the humidity is extremely visible, mold on the walls, rusted metal objects, this is unacceptable in a five-star hotel.
Breakfast:
Here the service from some employees is unfortunately more at a 2-star level; multiple times the coffee brought to the table was spilled in the saucer (and no new coffee is served), the selection at the breakfast buffet is also limited. The staff is likely not well-trained in some areas. Some waiters, however, are extremely friendly and attentive.
The entire garden area and the entrance are extremely beautiful; you feel right away like you are in a palace garden and a little paradise.
It is a pity; a renovation of the rooms, better training of the staff, and a resolution of the persistent humidity problem would certainly help.
The hotel is at a 3-4 star level, and in no case five stars!
There is apparently hotel management and also administration on-site at this hotel that does not really care about the hotel.
The hotel no longer deserves the Relais & Chateaux distinction.
We will not book again.

Very good relais and chateau in Corsica.
Hotel worthy of its 5 stars.
The "suite residence" is large and well-decorated, with a bathroom that has a window.
All the staff are young, dynamic, and helpful, especially in the restaurant.
The half-board includes an appetizer, a main course, and dessert to choose from the Italian chef's menu.
excellent stay to recommend +++ for the tranquility (especially outside of school periods for the pool), the park, and all the spa, fitness, sauna, and hammam facilities.

I recommend. Superb park and a dynamic and welcoming team.

Relaxing
We booked a villa with a private pool... the best!
Very calm and relaxing stay
Clean and spacious house with small touches upon our arrival. The spirit of Relais & Châteaux is well represented here.
Staff attentive to us and very responsive.
If I had to make a single remark about the villa, it would perhaps be a little refreshment in certain areas (the bathtub with rusty feet, the shower fixtures being borderline, the stained living room carpet...) these are small details that one notices for a hotel of this standing, especially before the season.
In conclusion, I am truly delighted with our stay and we will return next year
