From the welcome to the service at any time of the day, the team at the Abbey Hotel is attentive to every detail. Smiles, kindness, attentiveness, availability, professionalism
Everything is in place to make your stay a delightful interlude.

Great service, good location

Solo traveller but part of an organised tour. The hotel is in a great location, a short walk to the station should you want to enjoy the small Corsican trains and many do. You can get from Calvi to Ajaccio but you will need to change trains, worth the trip and not expensive for the journey.
The port front is just a little further with a wealth of places to eat and buy supplies. The citadel is also easy to reach from the hotel.
The hotel is on a quiet road and there is parking opposite the hotel. Warm welcome and the staff really cannot do enough for you. My room was on the front, blackout curtains mean you can keep any light out.
Rooms have a good bathroom, tea/coffee in the room with kettle and coffee machine. Safe and plenty of storage.
There is a beautiful pool, with loungers and a raised bar seating area to relax in the sun too.
The drinks etc are not cheap but they are reasonable I thought overall for the comfort and service. There is a lift to the rooms and the food in the restaurant is very good. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

An Exceptional Hotel/An Exceptional Hotel

Magnificently restored property with comfortable rooms. Because parking directly opposite the gates under constant video surveillance. Ideally situated for access to the centre and port with its bars, cafes and restaurants.
The level of personal service from all members of staff was excellent and friendly while being discreet and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Exceptional levels of cleanliness throughout. A sumptuous breakfast with plenty of choice. Regrettably we did not have the chance to try the restaurant.

Beautiful restored establishment with comfortable rooms. Parking located right in front of the doors, under permanent video surveillance. Ideal location to access the city center and the port, with its bars, cafes and restaurants.
Personalized service from all staff was excellent and warm, yet discreet, which made us feel welcome and comfortable. Cleanliness impeccable. Hearty and varied breakfast. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to test the restaurant.
Highly recommended.

We would happily stay there again

The hotel is good, great location, staff were good, has private parking, a private pool…
We had a good stay
no 5 stars just as it had not got that extra “je ne sais quoi” that extra more/special
but we would happily stay here again
