Highly recommended....

Reservation via internet, I was immediately contacted by telephone by a very friendly lady ( Jessica ) , there were 2 superior rooms with air conditioning provided in 1/2 guest house, on arrival we were kindly received and escorted to the rooms on the 2° floor, the 3 floors are accessible by a lift, the evening food consisted of a fixed 3 course menu and is definitely recommended (price / quality) , very friendly service by the owners, we got a home feeling, very spacious and clean rooms and bathroom, good bed, hotel is a bit dated but very charming with ern art deco decor with lead windows,
Regret the simple French breakfast (no choice buffet: meat, cheese and eggs are only available for a supplement and is brought to the table just like the coffee, fruit juice and bread ( is a small minus )
Still a big kudos!!! ( I will definitely be back )

Hotel requiring extensive renovation - disappointing kitchen.

Located far from the old town but close to the train station, this hotel needs extensive renovation. The walls of my room have suffered from water infiltration in the past and have not been restored. Very basic wardrobe. No possibility to place your suitcase! No air conditioning!!!
However, the room was clean.
Disappointing restaurant and very unwelcoming. Furniture worthy of a cafeteria. No dish offering regional cuisine. I was alone and I was invited to occupy a table that could seat six people!!! Owner with little knowledge of hospitality quality. I would like to congratulate and thank the receptionist who helped to "save the day" with her professionalism and kindness.
This hotel had its glory days but no longer meets current hospitality standards. I certainly will not return there.

Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que votre séjour n’ait pas répondu à vos attentes. Lors de votre réservation, vous aviez choisi une chambre économique, qui correspond à la catégorie la plus compacte de notre établissement. Notre hôtel étant complet à votre arrivée, nous n’avons malheureusement pas pu vous proposer immédiatement une autre catégorie. Cependant, dès qu’une chambre plus spacieuse s’est libérée au deuxième jour de votre séjour, notre équipe vous a proposé un changement, que vous avez préféré refuser.
Concernant le restaurant, celui-ci affichait également complet ce soir-là. Vous avez néanmoins pu bénéficier de la dernière table disponible, étant arrivé parmi les derniers clients du service. Quant aux remarques concernant la carte, nous précisons que le menu est affiché à la réception et reste consultable avant l’accès au restaurant avant toute réservation.
Nous souhaitons également revenir sur les conditions dans lesquelles notre personnel de ménage a dû intervenir durant votre séjour. À plusieurs reprises, l’équipe a dû nettoyer des excréments laissés dans la chambre, notamment sur la cuvette des toilettes, dans le lit ainsi que sur une chaise. Nous considérons qu’il est inacceptable de laisser une chambre dans un tel état sans même effectuer un minimum de nettoyage préalable par respect pour le personnel chargé de l’entretien. Malgré ces situations particulièrement difficiles et irrespectueuses pour nos équipes, notre personnel a continué d’intervenir avec professionnalisme et discrétion.
Enfin, vous évoquez un manque de convivialité de notre part. Nous regrettons ce ressenti. Toutefois, dans le contexte d’un hôtel et d’un restaurant complets, nos équipes devaient avant tout assurer le bon déroulement du service et répondre aux nombreuses demandes opérationnelles afin de garantir la meilleure expérience possible à l’ensemble de notre clientèle.

Viva La France

This is a typical French experience expect nothing less. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The Bistro is run by a competent chef and the waitress was enthusiastic. We enjoyed our stay with our toy poodle.

Classic decor, very pleasant staff and good food in the dining room.
The surroundings take you out of your life today to enter a period movie of the 1920’s.
We always stay here and enjoy the dinibgvroom

Far from living up to its claims, it must have been a beautiful hotel in 1950!

When I booked, the only room available was the 140€ suite. Ok
When I asked if he was dining and if had opened tonight I was answered of course Monsieur by blowing me on 1911.
When we arrived, the suite was a slightly larger than normal room with a small terrace on the floor a carpet from another time with bleach stains, ceiling traces of humidity, sink faucets that have trouble working, in short a 50-ball room.
For the 1911 restaurant I can tell you nothing when we went down to dinner, we were kindly told that there were nice restaurants in the city center because 1911 was sold out.
(If that's not trade...)
