Lovely clean hotel. Confortable bed and well set up room for 2 adults and 2 children. Very welcoming and helpful when only booked last minute due to a flight cancellation. Breakfast was lovely with a really good selection of fresh food.

A successful change for the ibis Styles Centre Beziers.
What a wonderful surprise upon arriving in Beziers at the new ibis Styles Centre (formerly Mercure Centre) entirely decorated in the 80s and 90s video game style... a totally successful change. The rooms, the common areas, the breakfast room with its large windows looking out.
The parking is a big plus with a direct elevator to access the reception.
The staff from management to check-in, check-out, breakfast, and housekeeping were extremely smiling and attentive.
For us, it is truly a perfect place to stay.
Not to mention the gifts upon arrival for the children, the water fountains, the bathrobes and slippers in the room. The bath products. And the air conditioning.
In short, as you have gathered, we will be back.

Ibis Styles Béziers: A Successful Rebrand
This is a successful rebranding of a Mercure hotel. It is in a good location, right in the city centre just 500 metres from the Jean Jaurès Square and the Paul Riquet Allée. The underground car park is more than adequate and reasonably priced at €9 per night (2026).
Check in/Check out:
Absolutely seamless.
Staff:
Very welcoming, attentive and, above all, competent. I would make a particular mention of the friendly young woman in reception, Chaimaa, who solved a problem in less than a minute which greatly added to the comfort of our stay. Moreover, Chaimaa could communicate with us in English, Franch, Spanish AND Catalan. If I were on the management team I would make it a number one priority never to lose a team member of her calibre.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is included all across the Ibis Styles brand. It is often hit and miss. Not on this occasion; breakfast was plentiful and there was something for absolutely everyone; hot and cold options. Unlike other Ibis Styles hotels, which may or may not have coffee and tea facilities, the staff at this hotel kindly left the coffee machine on until the late afternoon in case anyone needed a refill. At other Ibis Styles hotels, the coffee machine is often 'retired' just after the breakfast service is done.
Rooms:
This hotel has just been reformed (some work is strill under way) so the finishings were top quality; the beds are very comfortable and the bedding and pillows were perfect. The bathrooms were well-appointed although the separate toilet measures little more than one square metre. That said, the regular rooms are quite small, so anyone not travelling alone or with a lot of luggage or would do well to upgrade to a superior room, which, is superior in every single way and also has a safe.
Welcome Drink:
Accor members of our grade are entitled to a welcome drink. We usually ask for a local wine and were given a copious amount of a lovely red from Corbières. Not like our stay in one of the capitals of French wine, Bordeaux, where we were told wine was not available! It was either beer or Perrier.
Constructive Criticisms:
There are two:
1) There is no individual control of room temperature (at the moment); the panel is there but the guests cannot control room temperature. This is decided by the hotel. On 1st May the temperature was set at 24ºC. Even with the A/C switched off and the windows open the heat interfered with the quality of our sleep.
2) The layout of the breakfast area with communal banquettes is a mistake, in my opinion. During busy periods, anyone unfortunate enough to be in the middle of a banquette would have to dislodge up to three people on either side if he or she had to get up for whatever reason. Far better to have individual tables which can be put together or separated at will.
Recommendation:
Béziers is a beautiful little city which is dinky, clean and intimate. There are also interesting places to visit nearby such as Pézenas. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Once again, a caveat; I would also recommend paying a little extra for the comfort of a superior room.

Good, but disappointing breakfast...!
Location very close to the city center, professional and friendly welcome and service.
Large room, clean, well decorated, very well equipped.
The property has been renovated in a very pleasant way.
Breakfast is disappointing and not up to the other services: lack of diversity in the sqlé...ham and cheeses of poor quality, with eggs to cook, there is nothing else...2 kinds of yogurts only...bread and industrial cakes, without taste interest...
