Great stay, arrived late, close to midnight. The night attendant was great checked us in and kept the bat open, for a much needed drink after delays on M25 (as usual) and the 2 hour delay at Le Shuttle. Short stay but would go back for a stop offer when heading into France.

No A/C, I forgot to check so that's on me, however they had a fan. Also the pool access cost extra...
Street parking was available very close by. Breakfast (supplement) was fine.

A beautiful success for our stay at the Régina hotel.
Our stay in Berck was particularly pleasant.
And the weather was once again completely accommodating for the old walkers we have become;
Our accommodation:
At the Régina hotel where we were very well received.
Whether it was due to the kindness of the staff, and I particularly think of Simon, our bartender, the champion of picon-bière, Oscar in the dining room, but also the entire staff, whether at the reception or the "floor girls" always ready to assist you.
Excellent meals that were delicious and hearty, whether on Sunday at Bet leu, then at the Régina hotel, the hearty lunches, as well as the dinners preceded, as is customary, by a nice aperitif and followed by good "digestive" moments at the hotel bar.
Not to forget "Au Pied du Mont" on Friday during our return, a wonderful discovery!

Like the tour of Berck, several walks around and near the Authie Bay, the Madelon, Mont Saint Frieux.
The longest ones were well led by Alain, thank you Alain!
Different viewpoints, over the bay, over the sea, also the open-air museum, the fort of Alprech, and of course the town of Berck, its church, essential, remarkable, Notre Dame des Sables.
We obviously admired the colonies of seals lounging on their sandbank, as well as noticing the rapid rise of the sea during the return of the tide.
All of this enhanced and contributed to the success of this stay.
I only received compliments, which I admit gives me a certain pride, no negative remarks or very few and insignificant ones.
We certainly took the opportunity to fill our bag with good memories again.

Does not meet our expectations
We stayed 2 nights in this hotel, average standing! We had dinner at the restaurant and it was not famous. Missing a bottle of water in the room ... pity .... Regarding the spa the water was cold .... The room is small for a premium room and the shower joints are to be seen again black traces of moisture in the joints. Staff at the friendly bar too bad to have a piano that doesn't work! We will not return to this hotel any sympathy with the guests....

Establishment not meeting the standards of its category
This hotel certainly has some assets: a spacious room facing the beach with a pleasant maritime atmosphere. Unfortunately, these qualities are overshadowed by major shortcomings.
The school suffers from a widespread and persistent olfactory problem. Upon entry, an unpleasant smell is felt, suggesting a malfunction of the evacuation system. This situation also affects rooms where excessive use of disinfectant products fails to mask the problem.
Sound insulation is non-existent. The movements of the occupants of the upper and lower floors are perfectly audible through the floor. Even more disturbing, the noises of pipes echo in the rooms every time other guests use the bathroom.
In addition, the furniture is clearly outdated. The equipment is more like an entry-level budget chain than a 3-star establishment. The worn headboard illustrates this discrepancy between the ranking displayed and the reality observed.
The 3-star rating raises serious questions about the criteria applied when awarding it.
