Very Nice Stay

Lovely place that was convenient to Bayeux. Older but well kept and very attractive. Bed and pillows comfortable..Host was nice but we were a bit confused about cleaning protocol. Fold covers meaning wasn't clear, so ask before you decide on the optional cleaning fee which is 60 euros. Nice yard space if you have children. Lots of steep stairs to the apt but doable.

NOT RECOMMENDED: DIRTY, OLD AND SMELLY APARTMENT!!!

Our apartment was dirty, it smelled of mold, so much so that to mask the smell there was a perfumer always on, the bathroom looked like a closet. The apartment faced the street and was not soundproof at all, if you opened the window to change the air privacy was not guaranteed and flies would enter. The linen for the kitchen and bathroom, given that we stayed for 6 nights, was completely insufficient, the kitchen utensils inadequate and scarce, the owner never responded to our kind requests to have an extra garbage bag. Old and dirty environment, full of dust and cobwebs. Be careful not to choose the "lo studio bleu" apartment, it is highly recommended!!!!

Great stay! Very very nice and friendly host

We had a great stay at La Cour Royale. The appartment was great. The rooms are nice and clean. Location is very good within walking distance of the center and only a very short walk away from a bakery to get your breakfast.
Compliments for the host. Laëtitia is very friendly and understanding. For medical reasons we had to change our reservation very short before our arrival but it was no problem. We really appreciated that.
La Cour Royale is your perfect (central) stay for visiting all the D-Day sites.

Spacious, clean and well organized

This was listed as an apartment so we were anxious about what we were getting into. We called the hostess when we were about 30 minutes out as she had requested. It was a little tricky to find parking close (had to do a couple of loops so that we didn't have to walk far with luggage).
The hostess was waiting outside for us. The facility is locked from the street with a passcode. Once inside there are several apartments on a couple (?) of floors. Ours was spacious for our party of three (a king bed and a really nice sofa that pulled out). There was ample closet space too. The rental comes with WiFi access.
Our room included a full-blown kitchen with a range, fridge, microwave and utensils. Everything was in great condition and the cupboards had laminated photos showing how to replace items that you may use (great idea).
Nice bathroom facilities included a hair dryer, soap, towels.
All the way in the back of the apartments was an open courtyard with hammocks, a grill and deck chairs!

Algunos puntos muy bien, pero otros deficientes, según mi parecer

Está muy bien ubicado y los espacios al aire libre son espaciosos y bonitos.
Estaba limpio y el espacio común era grande y espacioso. El techo de la escalera y de la habitación superior es muy bajo. El techo de las dos habitaciones del piso de abajo son bajos y no tienen armarios para guardar la ropa. La Wifi es débil y sólo admite una conexión.
El MAYOR PROBLEMA con el que nos encontramos fue que CONTRATAMOS un apartamento con DOS ASEOS y el apartamento asignado SOLO TENIA UNO. Para nosotros este punto fue una decepción importante.
