Warm welcome in the heart of Arles
Actually, the property is situated in the very heart of Arles - location could not be better. The house is owned and managed by a very helpful and hospitable man who may advise on restaurants, bars, events or even guide you through the city. The rooms are very nice, well-furnished and stylish. Our room was spacious and quiet, and faced very cosy backyard. Room and bathroom were very clean. There is an access to the rooftop where you can enjoy a wonderful view on the city. The breakfast is kindly served be the owner himself in his dining room - and it is absolutely charming.
Though, you must pay attention that it is not actually a hotel, but a private house. We had a room on the 3rd floor (no lift available) and the bathroom is shared with another room. On the 2nd floor (as far as I could understand) there are 3 rooms, and they all share the same bathroom. We had a chance that the neighbouring room was not occupied, so the bathroom was for us only.
On the whole, during our stay we had a feeling that we are visiting a friend. And of course, Arles is definitely worth visiting!
