Le Buala Maison dHôtes is set in a partially-restored farmhouse with view of the Pic du Midi, 5 km from Bigorre Golf Club and 6 km from Bagnères-de-Bigorre. Free WiFi access is available in all areas and Lourdes is 17 km away. With a south-facing balcony, each room offers a view of the Pic du Midi. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower. The hosts can prepare evening meals made with regional produce, upon request. Breakfast can be taken in the courtyard while you admire the mountain views. Homemade jams, a selection of local cheeses, cold meats and freshly-baked bread and cake, cereals, fruits and yogurt are served for breakfast every morning. Popular activities include cycling to Col du Tourmalet, 35 km away, and the Chateau de Mauvezin is 20 km away. Private parking is free on site. Please inform Le Buala Maison dHôtes in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Peaceful, authentic stopover

If you are driving through the Pyrenees foothills (following Tour de France or going into the mountains of Col Tourmalet), this is a lovely place to stay for a night or two, and close to Bagères-de-Bigorre where there is lots of places to eat & shop. The bed was comfy, the newly remodeled farmhouse beautifully appointed, and the breakfast more than just the classic bread & coffee offerings. Lovely couple owners/managers.

"Quintessential delight a wonderful place to stay"

I've been staying at Le Buala for over a year on my business tripos to Tarbe & can sat this is the most delightful relaxing & charming place to stay. I homed in on the location for the cycling, walking & sightseeing opportunities in my downtime of which its absolutely perfect for all. Owners Karine & Rudie are the loveliest hosts making you welcome & will help with all the local knowledge for your stay. If you get chance do try their amazing home cooked food a little Dutch / French style cuisine which is delicious as is the wonderful breakfast.

Charming and homely place to stay

We stayed two nights at this charming guest house.The room was wide and well equipped. The bathroom was excellent.
The owners made us feel at home , were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was perfect.
The guesthouse is located in a perfect place for visiting the national park of the Pyrenees:
Pic the Midi the Bigorres, and the Lac of gaub.
Very very recommended.

A really lovely place to stay!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable overnight stay this July with Karine and Rudi in their beautifully renovated farmhouse near Antist. The view towards the Pic du Midi from our spacious and well-appointed bedroom was glorious. The accommodation was so comfortable and our hosts made us feel very welcome and instantly at home. We really enjoyed chatting to them and sharing life’s experiences over aperitifs and the delicious evening meal prepared by Karine. Her attention to detail was truly admirable and this is only one of the many aspects that makes this guest house so special. Unfortunately we had a long drive ahead of us the following day so were unable to explore this lovely area but we hope to return for another visit. For anyone wanting just an overnight stay, a weekend break or a longer stay, we cannot recommend Le Buala highly enough. Karine and Rudi, thank you so much for your hospitality.

Welcoming and luxurious hideway.

Searching last minute we were here directed by another b&b. We did not regret!
The place is in a small quiet village. We got a beautiful tastefully decorated room with a large comfy bed and a huge en suite bathroom.
The owners made us feel at home immediately and serve an excellent breakfast with homemade and local products. Also the dinner we had was scrumptious.
The weather was poor but Le Buala made our day!
