Don't choose it, you have more options.

They sold it to us as a hotel and it is a chambre d'hotes (which are usually fantastic). The place needs a lot of cleaning and order. The first impression with the dirty clothes in the middle of the hall was already terrible (and it didn't disappear the next day).
Spiders, smell of mold... but above all a strong tobacco smell throughout the building, including our room on the second floor where you couldn't smoke.
Very little breakfast. They didn't even give us glasses, there was no tablecloth, the table was not clean...
The worst thing is the owner, a lack of respect for customers that we had never seen before. You can't insult a customer repeatedly and then accuse them of having a lack of humor.

The host is a very open friendly person with stories and jokes. A good continental breakfast and some seasonal surprise. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the old city, but be careful on the walk back. Even though it looks like a straight shot back, it is Europe & France and the streets are not straight. It is easy to get on the wrong street and you'll find yourself 10 minutes out in a different direction. Check landmarks at various points and it becomes easy. Other than that comfortable and nice.

Pleasant B&B within 15 minutes walking distance of old town

Spent just 1 night here as part of our 84 day grand driving tour of Europe. Room was pleasant, breakfast delicious and our host Dominic gave us plenty of helpful tips and directions for exploring the old town. Thoroughly recommended
