Great place to get away from the noise and city traffic.

Absolutely beautiful place for a get away. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The swimming pools are the highlight of the resort. There are peacocks roaming the grounds that are nice to look at. They do make a lot of noise but, it's not so intrusive to be a deal breaker. There is a very nice cafe for coffee and snacks. The restaurant is very large with nice views of the city and the pools. The food is passable but not great. There are places to rent for private family gatherings and you can bring in your own food. Overall a very nice place and I would recomend it as a nice place to relax and enjoy swimming.

Over rated hotel that turned into our most terrible hotel experience ever!

Worst 2 nights we spent in a hotel!
Their website photos are super deceiving. We were excited to get there but ended up super disappointed.
For the price, it was a complete rip off. We could have gotten a hotel half the price at better service and condition.
They are nickle and diming guests thru early check in charges even at barely 45 minutes to standard check in time and the room already being available.
As i cannot post all photos, here are the descriptions:
1. No bottled water in the room. I had to go ask for them and was given two small bottles only.
2. No electric iron and when I asked for one, it wasn’t paired with an ironing board
3. Either speed dials didn’t work or nobody would pick up
4. Static TV reception
5. Restroom with smell of urine, rusted fixtures, moldy corners, toilet flush rusted and very hard to press
6. Curtains and bed covers very dirty, obviously not washed for a long time. I wonder how many dirty hands and feet/shoes touched those curtains and bed covers.
7. Bugs getting in the room, ants all over and we would be awakened by gecko and lizard noises
8. Most of their foods tasted weird. Spicy foods were not well specified so I ended up wasting an order of pasta because it was too spicy.
9. They have no umbrella for guests to borrow despite the lay out where restaurants are at a good walking distance which includes where breakfast was served
10. No transportation available, even grab doesn’t serve the location.
11. The property isn’t well lit especially coming from the pool/restaurant to the hotel rooms
12. Pool has no depth signs/markers

Only stayed night so didnt appreciate the facilities- nice resort set out- friendly. My room was a bit strange- no outside window which i dont like - ( not all are like that)

Janella and rest of staff were exceptional. Every question I had was answered immediately. Communication was perfect. Will go back again next trip to CDO!!! Great service from awesome people

Room was very dirty and uncomfortable to stay in. TV reception was very poor. Bathroom was stinky. Looks like many are in agreement with me since we only saw a few people.
