Back as a soloist in my fave Island

The resort is a little farther away from station 1, 2 and 3 (which is what I was looking for). I especially loved the fact that the resort was quiet but not secluded. The van pick up to and from D'Mall budget mart is reliable and prompt. It'll cost 25 php to commute if you don't mind travelling with locals and 200 php for private etrike one-eay. The room is spacious and clean. AC quiet and cold, service was impeccable. The only downside for me was the slow and unreliable wifi. Would not stay here for workation.

the far orient

located in station 1, this boutique hotel lies hidden in an alley. it has a mini-museum, a heated pool and a small restaurant where our silog breakfasts were served for the three days we stayed there. it was pretty decent.
our room has no view. there was no cabinet at all. not even a hanger to unfold our clothes. there was a tiny ref provided and you can only get an intermittent internet connection near the door. you can't rely on their wifi at your most convenient position in your bed.
the door can't be opened anymore by a keycard. the hapless key did its job but gave us a hard time manoeuvring the lock.
our linens and towels were never replaced for the three nights we stayed there. anyway, maybe it was our fault we didn't ask.
service was commendable. the kitchen staff was attentive and punctual. shoutout also to their driver who shuttled us guests promptly and cheerfully from the hotel to d'mall at designated hours.

My stay wasn't the best. The service was good, although the amenities were subpar. But there was free breakfast included with the stay and it was good.

All was ok , but really far from all the activities.
They have transfer, but not many slots. Ppl are nice there. But behind the fridge it was too dirty.
Breakfast I also didn’t like , but it is my personal opinion. And they r pet friendly, that is very good. Also massage is good.

Approachable yung staff nila. Okay naman yung place malayo lang sa beach and yung pool okay lang. Thank you!
