Beautiful Diving Resort

The atmosphere here is wonderfully quiet and relaxing – exactly what we were looking for. Some construction is ongoing, which can be a bit disturbing, but the policy of halting work on request is a fair and effective solution.
The staff were always polite, welcoming, and genuinely kind. We especially enjoyed the food: always fresh, local, and delicious (with authentic Filipino flavors as far as we could tell). We felt truly welcome throughout our stay.
Diving with Matt was an absolute highlight – he did an outstanding job guiding us through the wrecks and tailoring the dives to suit all guests. His passion for diving really shines through and made the experience unforgettable.
It’s also worth mentioning that all staff spoke English well enough for easy conversation, which made everything smooth and enjoyable.
A few practical notes:
• Power interruptions and slightly yellowish water may be an issue for some, but we didn’t mind.
• The new Starlink WiFi is fast and reliable for such a remote island.
• The “beach” part of the name can be misleading for non-divers, as there isn’t much beach at high tide.
• Each room only has one key, so if you lock it and keep it with you, the room can’t be cleaned. Once we asked, the staff explained it to us.
Overall, this resort is a gem for divers and anyone seeking peace and nature. Beautiful atmosphere, great food, outstanding diving, and wonderful people – we would definitely recommend it.

Pool under construction not finished. The speed boat to pick you up or to back and forth is $30 each way. . Beautiful view . Very limited selection food wise and prices are soo high.

Great location, bare accomodations

We wanted to check out a location that was close to shipwrecks. The location is peaceful if it were not for constant construction going on. The water was not hot and the electricity is not 24/7. Staff is friendly and the food is ok. Beware of additional fees (van from airport to coron, and the boat from coron to chindonan resort) it adds up. Bring your own dive gear if you can.

Chindonan diving adventure and stay

Had an awesome stay at Chindonan Dive Resort. Best staging point for diving the Coron Bay wrecks with the shortest commute to the dive sites. Matt was a very knowledgeable guide and dive lead who gave us very clear briefs and managed the group well in terms of confidence and air consumption. I am a much more confident wreck diver as a result of our time here. Sometimes there are power dips, there is no shop so bring snacks if you need them and if you are fussy with water maybe bring a portable filter. None of these things were a concern to us. Will absolutely be back to this island paradise:) staff very friendly and did their best to accommodate us both diving and non diving. Highly recommend

The staff and location is the best thing about this resort. Matt, the diving instructor, and the boat captains were excellent. The rest of the staff - cooks,,servers, housekeeping - were so friendly and kind. Although there is construction going on to expand and renovate the resort, they were pretty quiet and respectful. The room we stayed in is one of the newer rooms but even the older rooms were okay. The resort is very quiet and peaceful with ocean views.
