Stagnant, Mosquitoes and Dirt

To be avoided. Hostel located above a sewer with a shocking smell throughout the entire structure. Nest of mosquitoes and bed bugs. Pay €3 more but avoid this place if you care about your holiday. You can't sleep at night because of the smell and the bites.

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT STAY HERE!

We stayed for one night but we didn't sleep at all. We spent the night in the launge sitting in a bench full of TERMITES because our room (and the rest of the place) was absolutelly full of THE BIGEST CUCARACHAS I EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! In the ceiling, walls, floor, RUNING IN THE BED, etc.
Also was poorly raining so the place turned TERRIBLE SMELLY...
Sheets, towels and etc were so dirty too and I'm not going to speak about the toilet...
Also to get in the place you have to walk in a unsafe wood flor (pieces are falling) and there's rubbish everywhere...
After being siting all night long we told to the lady that we were not going to pay the whole amount because we didn't use the room at all, but we could pay for being under her ceiling. That was even bad for our health and totally unacceptable. She was rude and angry saying that why we didn't left. We said that it was a dangerous area in the middle of the night and raining so much (no stopping). She shouted said is not her problem and she is not letting us go. So we just left, what a terrible place it is.
I regret of not taking pictures for you guys that are cheking this place.

Cool guesthouse for two nights

We staid for two nights at Coron backpackers, the place is located in Coron city near all restaurants and bars. The place is very simple which did not bothered us as we were expecting less comfort than usual. We felt safe and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We just asked for some info and book a island hoping tour and we got it for the day after. As well the guesthouse organised the trip to the airport. WIFI is great and the signal quite steady. Bathroom and kitchen are clean as well as the bedsheets which for us was essential. Negative points of the location is the smell from the trash outside brought by the tide everyday so this accommodation was good for two nights only.

Bad smell and cockroache

Hi,
i'm not complicated for hostels, but here there was a big cockroach which run under my bed when i came back to sleep. I know this can happened, but coupled with the very swampy odor of the room and creepy sounds during the night (like Rats fight), my night was horrible
I don't understand good opinion on this hostel, i didn't see any traveler in it.
i don't recommend this hostel.

Value for money

We arrived at 4am and this was no problem even though we hadn't given any warning of this. The staff were nice and everything was very clean.
It was quite noisey at night as the walls are very thin so you can hear everything. The wifi mostly didnt work and the eletrics were questionable at best. As there's a pool of water below the building there was at times an odd smell.
