Private island tour bliss

My husband and I are celebrating our honeymoon at Bacau Bay Resort. We just had an amazing private island tour with Elvin, Darlyn and the crew. What a memorable experience, the people the islands and amazing food. I would highly recommend this for family’s, friends or a romantic date day!

We really liked staying at this hotel overall, the only regret is that the WiFi doesn’t really work anywhere except in the lobby. The rooms, the staff, the food and amenities were all top notch otherwise. But they couldn’t get the internet to work anywhere, even though they tried to fix it by restarting their router several times. Hopefully, at our next stay, this issue gets fixed.

The whole Bacau Bay experience was wonderful. The staff were very courteous, the resort was intentionally planned, and the food was amazing. There are a lot of instagram-worthy corners and murals all over the place. And we get treats every evening from the staff. A experience.

Unforgettable 4 Days at Bacau Bay Resort in Coron

We had an amazing 4 night stay at Bacau Bay Resort as a family of 4. The location of the hotel is excellent, close enough for a 5 minute tuk-tuk drive into town, but far enough that it was quiet and tranquil. The hotel was clean and had plenty of amenities but what really made the difference for us was the hospitality. We took two private boat tours from the hotel dock and they were both the best days of our vacation. Our Guide Dennis, our hostess Gie and Drone pilot Bert made sure that the full days on the boat met all of our expectations. They made sure we were comfortable and safe, fully fed and did all the little things to make sure our tour was memorable. We now have some amazing drone footage from those days that truly show the beauty of the area near Coron. Thank you to all the staff at Bacau Bay Resort for taking the extra steps to make sure we had an amazing experience.

Ryan is one of the hotel staff who assisted us from airport pick-up to settling into our room. He was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. Children 5-11 years old: If accompanied by fully vaccinated parent/guardian, COVID-19 tests are no longer required; If the accompanying parents or guardians are partially vaccinated or unvaccinated, a negative RT PCR test done by DOH licensed laboratory/RHU is needed, taken 72 hours prior to travel. Children 5 years old and below: No Covid Test Requirements. Birth Certificate or any documents to prove kids’ age. WHILE IN CORON: - Required to pay the Environmental Fee of PHP 200 per person at the airport/Tourist One Stop Site located at the entry points of Coron. Tours / diving - booked and is submitted during S-PASS application . Tourist manifesting Covid-related symptoms will isolated in the hotel/resort isolation room .Coordinate with Municipal Government / Municipal Health Office for evaluation / instructions - RT PCR testing to be recommended as necessary - If positive, all expenses related to medical, accommodations, and other services will be assumed by the tourist until recovery . TOURS/DIVING - 7:00am until 5:00pm only - 50% capacity of the transportation PROTOCOLS IN CASE OF ILLNESS. Immediate isolation of guests who will manifest Covid symptoms - Municipal Health Office will facilitate immediate assessment. While waiting for the RT PCR test results, guest/s will be brought to the resort's isolation room . Should the test result be positive, guest/s will remain in the isolation room until recovery or will be referred to the nearest available healthcare facility if needed . All expenses such as but not limited to medical, hotel, rebooking of tickets borne out of the additional health protocols or in case of COVID-19, shall be on the account of the tourist . We would also like to encourage our guests to bring their own drinking tumbler.
