Thoroughly Enjoyable…

Just back from another truly enjoyable stay at Follansbee Inn. Came for a House Concert on Saturday featuring Click Horning and Gerry Putnam it was great. The Inn makes creates a very intimate and relaxing setting for music.
As in the past the Breakfasts were delicious and the House made Desserts that they serve on Concert Evenings are Top Shelf

New England Lakeside Perfection

Dennis and Kendall, innkeepers extraordinaire, have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The breakfasts (decadent and filling enough to take one until dinner) are to die for (cinnamon rolls! Irish oats! Asparagus and Gruyère frittata!). The art and antiques that furnish the inn are beautiful and fun to explore. The access to kayaks, sailboats, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, and bikes made lakeside adventures super easy. Within a ten minute drive there are also wonderful small towns to explore. I loved every minute!

I grew up on a lake nearby...and Kezar Lake reminded me of how rustic and undeveloped Lake Sunapee was in the 1960s. The Follansbee Inn has true charm and is located right on the lake. The owners were low key and charming, and the breakfasts were fabulous.

We will be back.

We have had the good luck to have visited the Follansbee Inn before, this time we were traveling with a cousin.
Rooms were ready for us and Perfect. Comfortable bedding, lovely furnishings and great, relaxing views.
Enjoyed 3 Unique and Delicious Breakfast meals during our stay. These are Hearty experiences, you get to enjoy as much as you choose.
While being a historic inn, we always felt at home. Everything is top notch.
Denis, Kendall and Grace are superb Innkeepers and Hosts.

Excellent and Comfortable

Had the most enjoyable weekend with friends as we visited to witness the seasonal ice harvest.
Both Denis and Kendall are very welcoming and made us feel at home at all times. Even with the temperature outside hovering around 2* our room was very warm and comfortable.
This was our 3rd time visiting the Inn and definitely won't be our last.
