BEST HOTEL STAFF
Thank You for Going Above and Beyond!
Fiore,
I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for everything you did for us during our stay.
You went above and beyond your responsibilities!
During what could have been a very stressful and uncertain situation, you made sure we had somewhere to stay and consistently went out of your way to help. Your compassion and willingness to assist did not go unnoticed.
People often remember how they were treated and I will always remember how you treated us. Thank you again for your kindness, professionalism, and for simply caring enough to make a difference.
With sincere appreciation,
E.W

The stay was okay overall—not terrible, but the hotel could definitely use a refresh. The pool was closed during our stay, the lobby computer was out of order, and the elevator wasn’t working on our first day. There was also a strange smell when we first arrived. The AC units were pretty noisy, which made it difficult to get a good night’s rest.
On the positive side, breakfast was good, and I especially loved the waffle makers!
Overall, this is a decent option if you’re looking for a simple place to sleep and plan to spend most of your time out and about. It works well as a “drop your bags and go” kind of hotel, but I wouldn’t necessarily choose it if you’re looking to relax and spend a lot of time at the property.

Excellent Staff and a Wonderful Overnight Stay
After a very long drive from Nashville, Tennessee, my family and I found ourselves needing a place to stop for the night. It was around 12:30 a.m. when I called TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Slidell, and I am so glad I did.
Bri at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. Even though she had guests in the lobby, she took the time to assist me over the phone and held our room because she knew we were close to arriving. After such a long day on the road, her kindness and professionalism were greatly appreciated. When we arrived, she welcomed us with a smile, made check-in easy, and even helped me sign up as a Marriott member.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after an exhausting day of travel. Everything was clean, quiet, and well-maintained.
The next morning, we had another wonderful interaction with a staff member named Cashmere from housekeeping. As we were trying to get ready and leave, she knocked on the door to see if the room was occupied. She greeted us with a warm smile and kindly reassured us that we didn’t need to rush and could stay until noon. That simple gesture meant so much after our late arrival and long drive. I later learned it was her first day on the job, and she made an excellent impression.
The staff truly made this stay special. Their kindness, hospitality, and professionalism turned what could have been just a quick overnight stop into a memorable experience.
If you’re traveling through Slidell and need a clean, comfortable hotel with outstanding customer service, I highly recommend TownePlace Suites by Marriott. We would gladly stay here again.

Everything was so nice about the hotel. The staff, the amenities, the cleanliness of the room. I really enjoyed the complementary breakfast, and the cook there was such a nice lady. I would recommend this hotel to anybody!

Room clean and a good size. Beds hard, lots of noise during the night, and black out curtains not long enough to actually keep room dark.
