Exaclty what i needed.

Ive been here a few times now. When im coming to boston it doenst make sence for me to pay the high prices of the boston hotels. Its a close distance and an easy ride in to Boston. The prices are great for the area and while its not like the major hotels it does offer a clean quiet room to catch a nights sleep.

Be Weary

My friend, R and I booked in mid Aug for Columbus Day weekend. Have confirmation code.
Upon check in at 7:15pm, we were told the motel gave our room away. " we called you earlier and left a message". After numerous times of trying to return their call to no avail, we arrived at motel.
No apologies. No offers to put us up somewhere else at same rate as motel.
When R called to discuss on Wednesay, was told by " the manager"- who refused to give his name- that he needed to speak with someone & would get back to R. That was 3 days ago.
Ended up costing $700 for 3 days/ 2 nights.
Poor business ethic.

Good room for a good price!

Perfect for what I need, a nice clean room while i'm traveling, i enjoyed my stay! I'd return back here on my next trip through. I like to find these type of small, family run motels, which are within my budget and are clean and safe. Very nice Night Manager also, he helped me with anything I needed!

I don't suggest this place to no body.

I had the worst service in my life. The guy working on front disk (White male on his 50's).Gave me bad service and bad attitude. Such a bad person, Shouldn't be working there. I attached his picture so everyone knows him.

I stay there all the time and it's always good!

The price is right, I think the least expensive on Rte 1 and the best thing about the Avalon, it's clean, the Management keeps the grounds and rooms nice and clean and the sheets always smell fresh! Hey, it's not a 5 Star Motel, but i'm not paying $300.00, I pay about one hundred bucks whenever I stay there and that works for me!
