give yourself the little extra splurge and book the private bathroom. it’s nice to not have to run to the hallway toilet in the middle of the night! i promise its worth it. treat yourself, i mean you’re already visiting the best city in the united states of embarrassment!

I stay here 6 days, but they indicate that we need to pay 50 dollars if we want clean service. Additionally, the room is very humidity. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are clamping and quality are really poor. There are yellow stains on several towels.

We needed to check in at a different hotel about a block away (not ideal with luggage). The hotel room didn't have any soap and only 2 towels and a floor mat.

No staff in the registration lobby. No air conditioner.. the fan in the room is noisy. The street is noisy
In the day time. I feel very hot.
Many shops are closed in the street there is not convinence to shopping because of the biggest Walgreens is closed
If they have air conditioner and a bigger table..will be better. There is too simple. No any drawers in the room
I feel like the Herbert hotel doesn't care of clients . ,, continuous 3 nights without cleaning room ..

The Herbert was perfect for me small room nice bed and bathroom no amenities but I was ok with that. No front desk no maid service until check out ( ok with that too)
Close to public transport Bart,muni etc. Many shops and Restaurants in walking distance( near the Powell Street station and cable cars 30 minute walk to the SF Ferry Building easy access to Oracle Park by Muni. Not fancy but clean comfortable and safe during the day.
